Harvey McKay has notched up an impressive catalogue of releases for labels such as UNCAGE, Perc Trax, Cocoon, Filth On Acid and many more, always delivering well-polished and effective techno cuts. ‘Anatomy..’ follows 2009’s ‘Machine Make Noise’ album, released on the Soma Quality Recordings label, and marks a distinct progression in the stalwart producer’s sound.

From the opening strains of ‘Sequence Four (For Riley Instrumental)’, the assured maturity of McKay’s productions shine through, as the album touches on the many tones and tempos within the modern techno and electronic genre.

Whilst taking inspiration from the Detroit and Berlin school, it’s his own decidedly deep and funky aesthetic that binds the album together, as the ebb and flow of the thirteen tracks work magnificently, coming into land with the double delights of ‘Horizon’ and ‘Alive’.

Harvey McKay is a producer who has very much ‘stuck to his guns’ over the years, and remained aligned to the true techno sound, which is a real blessing when the music is this strong and rewarding.

The album is dedicated to my dear friend David Balmer and his fight against motor neurone disease. All profits from this album go to help Davey.

Luca Sconamila in arte Scona nasce a Cagliari nel Novembre del 1993. Sin dalla giovane età nutre una forte passione per la musica elettronica in particolare la techno. Nel 2012 mette mano alla sua prima console e da li intraprende la strada di dj e poco più avanti di producer. Principalmente autodidatta, nel 2014 frequenta un corso di musica elettronica moderna. Attualmente resident dj per Anyway Club ha suonato per influenti organizzazioni sarde come Ovest Club, Nightsounds, Breakout Sardinia e tante altre. Nel 2017 fece uscire il suo primo EP "Revolver" per la Jungle Press Recordings, successivamente un singolo dal nome "Dribble" per la Mo2 Records e svariati podcast per la Backbeat Sounds del Regno Unito, Sweet Milk Records, Mania Music Factory, Anyway Club, Behind the store, Phoenix Power Project, Charlie & Friends e tante altre. Principalmente si diletta in dj set che variano a seconda del pubblico, dalla deep, tech e house sino alla techno. Sono caratterizzati da sonorità melodiche e percussive.

Mostly self-taught artist, his career as a dj started in 2012 when he put his hands on a console for the first time, and later on also became a producer. In 2014 he attended an electronic moderne music course. Sardinian important organisations such as Ovest Club, Nightsounds and Breakout Sardinia are only a few of those which he has collaborated with. In 2017 it was released his first EP called "Revolver" for the Jungle Press Recordings and then produced the single "Dribble" for the Mo2 Records. He also recorded many podcasts that has been sent to and published by Backbeat Sounds of the UK, Sweet Milk Records, Mania Music Factory, Anyway Club, Behind the store, Phoenix Power Project, Charlie & Friends and many more. Currently resident dj for Anyway Club, he delights adapting his sound to the audience changing among deep, tech and house as well as techno. His dj sets are characterized by melodic and percussive sounds.

Vakfrau is a total music addict, his dj signature is an energetic, groovy sound with lots of vocals in house, tech house, melodic house & techno, progressive house and techno. Here to serve you absolute gems… 

First love is always been house but also absolutely love melodic and techno too and all of them with his energetic sound and guaranteed vocals in all these genres.
