Et si la philosophie permettait de comprendre le lien entre juste et juridique ?


Le verdict est tombé le 29 novembre : Eric Dupond-Moretti vient d’être relaxé dans son procès pour prise illégale d’intérêts. Il était reproché au ministre de la justice d’avoir profité de sa fonction pour régler ses comptes avec 4 magistrats qui avaient enquêté sur lui dans l’affaire des écoutes de Nicolas Sarkozy. 


C’était un procès inédit, car c’était la première fois qu’un ministre de la justice en exercice passait devant le tribunal. Mais c’est également un procès particulier, qui permet de parler d’un problème de philosophie du droit : la justice comme équilibre entre l’universalité et la singularité.


La loi est-elle la même pour tous ?


Dans cet épisode, on parle de droit, de Jacques Derrida, d’Eric Dupond Moretti, et bien sûr, de justice !

Procès d'Eric Dupond-Moretti : une philosophie de la justice


Et si la philosophie montrait notre devoir d'hospitalité ?


Après plusieurs jours de tractations, la nouvelle loi immigration a été adoptée le 19 décembre. Elle est l'une des plus répressives d'Europe, et a même été qualifiée de victoire idéologique par le Rassemblement National. Selon Emmanuel Macron, la France aurait un "problème d'immigration".


Pourtant, s’il est vrai que 60% des Français expriment des positions de rejet face à l’immigration, cette tendance baisse avec les années, et l’immigration ne fait pas partie des priorités des Français.


Alors, comment expliquer cette cristallisation du débat politique sur ce thème ? Et pourrait-on envisager une autre politique de l’immigration, qui ne soit pas fondée sur le rejet ?


Aujourd'hui, je vous propose une philosophie de l’hospitalité.

Cinema can be furtive and intensely beautiful—and it can leave a viewer craving more. Cinemal is Tessa Laird’s passionate inquiry writing about animals and writing about art, juxtaposing the two and burrowing into the ways that films mimic the majesty, mystery, and movements of animals. Here, Laird is joined in conversation with Giovanni Aloi and Caroline Picard, editors of the Art after Nature series with University of Minnesota Press.


Tessa Laird is an artist, writer, and senior lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. Her books include a fictocritical exploration of color, A Rainbow Reader, and a cultural history of bats, Bat, in Reaktion Books’ celebrated Animal series.

Giovanni Aloi teaches art history, theory, and criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is author or editor of many books on the nonhuman and art.

Caroline Picard is a writer, cartoonist, curator, and founder of the Green Lantern Press.

Between Rio de Janeiro's humid nights and the Bay Area's electric fog emerges a sonic territory that refuses naming. Psychotic Surge inhabits the threshold where structured rhythm dissolves into controlled chaos, where the predictable becomes uncanny. Here, experimental improvisations capture fleeting auras—each recording a unique fingerprint of temporal collapse, where early acid techno memories bleed into orchestral synthetic dreams, noise becomes prayer, and minimal compass constraints birth maximal expression.|

This is not music seeking approval but sound demanding participation. Like thought before language, these compositions exist in the space between intention and accident, where repetition becomes difference and structure emerges from its own undoing. The project traces a geography of becoming—each track a deterritorialized moment where voices merge with synthesizers not to communicate but to invoke presence itself. Concrete-musique fragments scatter across avant-garde landscapes, creating soundscapes that remember futures and anticipate pasts.

Listen not to understand but to inhabit. Each track opens a clearing where being precedes meaning, where the ear becomes an organ of ontological investigation. Enter these sound-worlds as you would enter memory—sideways, vulnerable, ready to be transformed. The psychotic surge event is not performance but ritual participation in the moment's aura, an invitation to dissolve the boundary between listener and listened. Here, in the grey area where music questions its own existence, you're called to witness sound's capacity to reveal what language conceals—the raw pulse of existence before it learns to speak. Engage these recordings as maps to territories that exist only in their crossing, where each listen births a new geography of sensation.
