XLucid is a Philly-based DJ, artist, and event curator. Their sets are living reflections of the cultural current, blending a contemporary spectrum of soundscapes with the deep lineage of dance music. Informed by their surroundings, XLucid shapes each mix to center the present moment, translating the city’s raw, undefinable energy into full-body immersion.

PetaL is the resident freak of Freak Flag, and a long-time DJ and technical engineer working behind the scenes at WKDU. Driven by eclecticism, they blend tracks across a variety of sounds including house, techno, disco, breaks and bass. Not bounded by genre, experience, or expression, Freak Flag focuses on exploring the world of electronic music with a guest DJ on each week and is guided by community and collaboration.

VU dug through its collection into the deep, soulful, and timeless sound of Detroit's Patrice Scott and his influential Sistrum Recordings label. Known for warm textures, analogue depth, and hypnotic grooves, Sistrum has shaped a unique corner of the underground—where deep house, techno and spiritual atmospheres meet. These records stand the test of time!

This mix accompanies our interview with Patrice (see the Blog on www.vinylunderground.co.uk) and explores his signature sound, from early Sistrum classics like “Atmospheric Emotions” and “Beyond Deep” to later gems such as “For My People”, “Detroit Upright”, and “Moments & Concepts.” It also features the the essential Patrice Scott remix of Mark E’s “Rain.”

Long running electro night, UFO is hosting an event in support of the compilation, CAREBOT$ The Second Mission from Bass Agenda in partnership with Pyramid Transmissions. The release and event are raising much needed funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians & Gaza Soup Kitchen.

The event will take place at Cosmic Kitchen in Plymouth, Devon, November 29th, 2025. Guests include ADJ (Pyramid Transmissions) and a live set from  Nanodyne Corp.
