In this PraxisWiki entry, we discuss and demonstrate a Multimodal Annotated Bibliography (MAB) assignment from a Digital Publishing writing course. We detail the learning goals for the MAB assignment, describe the assignment itself, and then provide access to six different MABs and reflections. After the samples, we reflect on how the MAB assignment provided opportunities for applying rhetorical concepts within digital spaces, opening space for new experiments, and learning to purposefully leverage the affordances of a particular medium such as a TikTok video, Instagram post, or an audio recording. This text is published in the January 2024 (28.2) issue of the PraxisWiki section of Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy.
