Dimi Angélis is a highly respected figure in Amsterdam's techno scene, with roots in the culture's early days of underground raves and warehouse parties. His DJ experience extends internationally and around the world playing essential places like Berlin's Berghain, Tresor, Dekmantel, and Awakenings. Also a revered producer, his tracks have landed on Bas Mooy's Mord, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, and Len Faki's Figure, while collaborations with fellow native Jeroen Search have yielded acclaimed projects like the vinyl only label A&S. He now heads up the ANGLS imprint and has well over 15 years of quality releases under his belt. This live recording was taken from his set at Patio, the Sunday party in the courtyard of Lofi, Amsterdam. Joton is synonymous with dark, futuristic, and sensitive techno, seamlessly mixed with the precision of a surgeon. His sound is industrial, analog, and mechanical—a pure distillation of techno's essence. With over two decades dedicated to the underground electronic scene, Joton has built a career that is both inspiring and influential. Based in León, Spain, he has meticulously crafted a distinctive style of techno, blending modern innovation with classic sensibilities.

As the founder of Newrhythmic Records, Joton has championed the work of countless national and international artists for over 20 years. His passion and vision have helped establish the label as a prominent force in the techno world. Joton’s global reach as a DJ has taken him to over 30 countries, where he has performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages.

A prolific artist, Joton's work has been showcased on renowned labels including Illegal Alien, Fabric, Modularz, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, Quartz, Odd Even, and Skryptöm. His tracks have garnered support from legendary figures such as Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Surgeon, Truncate, and Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, Casting Out Nines, to critical acclaim, presenting it across ten countries on three continents. Two years later, he embraced his analog roots with the album R3silient. 2018 saw the release of Antioquia on Odd Even and Extreme Measures on RAW RAW, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in techno. His most recent album, Hikikomori (2021), was born out of his interactive production courses, reflecting themes of isolation during the pandemic.

In addition to his production and performance work, Joton is a respected educator. Since 2010, he has shared his knowledge through collaborations with leading brands like Arturia, Parallel Festival, Microfusa, Intec and The Bass Valley, as well as international institutions such as Beatworx Academy in India.

Joton’s performances have left an indelible mark on some of the world’s most celebrated venues, including  Tresorin Berlin, REX in Paris, Basement in New York, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propagandain Moscow, Dommune in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Pereira, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Garein Porto, Infra in Boston, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Drugstore in Belgrade, Fabrik in Madrid, Technosnobs in Phoenix, among others.

When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it.
This is the case of Hugo Rolan, a native of the north of Spain, more precisely Asturias, has been Asturias, has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since he was a teenager, and now in his maturity
since his adolescence, and now in his maturity we can say that he masters the language to perfection.
He has been primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar 
in the local underground scene while working a conventional day job. In his spare time, he has been learning production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to go public with his work.
The wait has been worth it, and in 2022 his first work has been published onone of the most recognized ceiling labels of the moment, Warm Up Recordings, managed by Oscar Mulero, a very interesting debut album full of techno.
The second reference of his discography is released on one of the most 
important labels worldwide, nothing more and nothing less than the Axis Records owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where he is heading.
Thanks to this start he has been able to publish on different labels, with works on Incense Records, Legend 1997 Records, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet Recordings, Semantica Records, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms and several VVAA on Fenómenos Records, West Rules, KeyHole Records, Voyager Recordings and Loopaina Records.

He is currently a resident of Lanna Club, where he can be found in the club's monthlymonthly program of this club.

La segunda referencia de su discografía se publica en uno de los sellos más importantes a nivel mundial, nada más y nada menos que el sello Axis Records propiedad de Jeff Mills, un trabajo que nos hace acercarnos a su creatividad y nos da una idea de hacia dónde se encaminan su sonido.
