At nine years old, my brother Nick backed three horses destined for slaughter. No saddles, only blankets, bits and an instinct honed by centuries of nomadic horsemen blood flowing through his veins. We took the horses no one else would save and they followed us across lands, squatting where we could, pulling our lives behind them. Their names were Biscuit, Pepper, Sandy and Duke.

Alex, known as A1XD0K, is a composer and producer originally from France and the UK, now based in Western Canada. Blending the grooves of French touch, hip hop, trip hop, dub, rock, house and funk, his music fuses nostalgic warmth with modern electronic pulse keeping sounds in motion, rising, falling, shifting and finding balance. Dub echoes, boom bap rhythms, evolving harmonics, shape contrasts between tension and release, embracing imperfections while guiding the flow with the aim of creating music that moves, adapts and endures.

I create music that bridges darkness and light, retro and future. Inspired by French filter house, funk and the iconic Daft Punk sound, I make energetic tracks designed to fill the dancefloor. My sound blends hypnotic basslines, funky guitars, disco strings and vocals that are chopped, pitched and filtered into something alive and uplifting.

For me it is not just about rhythm, it is about emotion. Each track carries hidden stories, open to interpretation, and every song is a journey through the night where everything changes but the pulse never stops.

I use AI as part of my creative process to explore new boundaries and shape futuristic soundscapes that merge human feeling with digital imagination. I am not only producing music, I am creating moods and spaces where people can lose themselves, find energy and be lifted by the power of sound.
