Participating with God through prayer starts with recognizing that God is always doing something before we even enter the picture. Our role in prayer is not to get God to do something we think needs to be done, but rather to become aware of what God is doing, respond to it and participate with him in it. In prayer, we are invited to join Him in directing the course of this world and seeing His kingdom come and His will be done on earth!

Today, our Senior Pastor, Pastor Femi Paul, brought us God's Word in a message he entitled "All, by the Leading of God."

Taking reference from Matthew 2:1-12 (NKJV), he highlighted the journey of the wise men who followed God's leading:

"They were led as they went! They were led as they left!"

Matthew 2:9b-10 (MSG) beautifully illustrates this:
"Then the star appeared again, the same star they had seen in the eastern skies. It led them on until it hovered over the place of the child. They could hardly contain themselves: They were in the right place! They had arrived at the right time!"

Pastor Femi emphasised that under God’s leading, the wise men were directed to the right place and arrived at the right time. Their obedience and guidance turned them into "stars" themselves, led by the ultimate Star, the Sovereign King born in a manger.

At our Prayer & Praise Service, Pastor Femi Paul led the congregation in heartfelt intercession and shared a brief but powerful exhortation titled “The Power of Insight.” He warned that there’s nothing as dangerous as activity without insight—doing much, yet achieving little. Insight, he explained, is a form of spiritual communication that goes beyond natural sight; it’s what some may call intuition, perception, or discernment. 
While physical eyes see only the obvious, insight reveals the inner workings—just like an intelligence report before a battle. It provides clarity, direction, and strategy for victorious living. Pastor Femi emphasised that insight is knowing how to go about things successfully, whether in your career, relationships, or spiritual journey.

Referencing Proverbs 4:7 (GNT) – “Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do. Whatever else you get, get insight!” – he led the congregation to pray for divine insight: into human nature, their industries, financial matters, family dynamics, and the current economic season. With insight, we don’t just move - we advance with purpose and precision.
