Eelco has been obsessed with music since a very young age. Like many techno DJ’s he’s always had an eclectic taste that goes from metal to jazz to classical, drum & bass, hiphop, etc. He had an epiphany when he went to his first AWAKENINGS techno party many years ago. Since then he’s been addicted to this sound. His favorite styles are Techno and Electro. “The first time I walked into a Warehouse. And FELT that hard Bass, sharp hi-hats, and hypnotizing techno sound. I knew I had come home. And I want to spread my religious passion for the sound of proper TECHNO!

already in the year of 1994 "Hardy Heller" began to organize events under the registered trademark "Ohral". starting from a successful and thrilling party in his hometown a series of parties has developed. Further events and fargoing strings of events at the most different locations / cities but always carefully chosen with a lot of smartness followed and thus a community has developed that has grown in the course of time and has spread over the original region.

ohral on the one hand is dedicated to working as an organizer of parties and on the other hand works busily as an agency that books artists.

after our artists played quiet often at several radio stations we started from march 2003 on our own radio show named "Groovedelic", which was broadcasted by "Sunshine Live" on weekly base. even today we are having our own radio show named "Ohral On Air" which is now broadcasted live by "Evosonic Radio" every wednesday from 8 - 9 pm (MEZ).

Since the end of 2011 the marketing of our artists and artists who are close to our ohral family respectively belong to our poertfolio under the label name of “ohral recordings” / “ohral b recordings" / "ohral c recordings"

In 2019 we also started our own "Ohral Podcast" -  its about music, dj mixes, interviews, competitions as well as general news from our small but very creative and successful "ohral universe".

Unusually avant-garde house music between lofi- and minimal / deep house, techno, glitch and electronica, plunderphonics and house, the Westend Ghetto Guys somehow occupy a niche of their own and live from strange glitches and bizarre sounds. Bootleg remixes and mashups for 'iamamiwhoami' also lead to an official remix ("N") and collaborations with other musicians (e.g. 3PM, Minute Taker, Christopher Norman) from the Swedish pioneers of viral video chips. Not surprisingly, the collective from the Westend Ghetto even published sample libraries for the renowned magazine "Computer Music" and offers highly acclaimed "ensembles" in the Reaktor community ("Native Instruments") to create amazing digital sequences. .
