DJ Dagwood the Chicago born and raised, fell in love with and discovered "House Music" at the age of 13 years old @ The "Playground" dance club on 13th & Michigan Ave. "My life changed the day I saw Jessie Saunders & Farley "Funkin" Keith dj'ing there" and From that day all I wanted to be was a dj and play house music. So I joined the league of my peers, DJ Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, Larry "Mr. Fingers" Heard, Robert Owens & K Alexi Shelby. I started to hang around these guys and learn to spin and produce house music. You can listen to my music and you can hear the influence dj Fast Eddie had on me as an aspiring Hip House artist. We’re both friends from the westside of Chicago and during those days back when we were all looking at DJ INTERNATIONAL RECORDS as the Motown of Chicago house music, we were on a mission to get our dance music out to the world cause it seems like they couldn’t get enough of Chicago house and Eddie was the man back then. So we all followed him and Tyree Cooper in this Hip House movement, where we would rap over our house music tracks. My passion for house music drove me deep into the house music scene and since then its been a great experience that lead to making records, dj'ing all over the world and "HOUSE" gave me a pathway for success. Since that time, I've produced: Deep House, GhettoHouse, Hard House, G-House and Future House music. Working with, DJ Kevin Halstead (RIP), Jammin Gerald, Dajae, Cajmere, CZR, Glenn Underground, and dj Paul Johnson. My latest collaborations with GettoBlaster, DJ Paul Anthony, Bad Boy Bill, DJ James Ingram, DJ Gant Man and DJ Deeon are a testimate that my artistry and music has evolved and I've finally found a good place to be in dance music.

Biografie:

1995 besuchte Sebastian die ersten Bunker Partys, und entdeckte seine Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik, schließlich fing er 1998 an mit dem Auflegen, unter dem Namen Sebastian Keks.
100% Vinyl DJ mit voller Hingabe, sein Sound ist geprägt vom Techno der neunziger. 
Sebastian lässt sich kaum kategorisieren, gespielt werden verschiedene Sub Genres zwischen 125-150 Bpm.
Als VINYLISMM eher so im Bereich electronic Music und Tech House bis hin zum minimal einzuordnen, als SEBASTIAN KEKS, ganz klar Techno, dies allerdings von Melodic, über Oldschool bis hin zum Hardtechno.

Sebastian gründete mit seinem Zwillingsbruder im Oktober 2000 die Crew Umweltpumpe1, die sich in den ersten Jahren auf Techno Veranstaltungen beschränkt hat.
2002 wurde dann aus Umweltpumpe1 ein kleines Techno Label (Up1 Records),.

Sebastian war von 2004 bis zum Closing 2013 resident DJ im Triebwerk Dresden 

2014 hat er die Veranstaltungsreihen
Nachteulen sowie Berlin Techno ins Leben gerufen

Seit März 2024 Mitglied bei SUT - Secret Underground Techno

2005 hat umweltpumpe1 die erste Party unter dem Namen, Gepflegtes Klopfen im Triebwerk Dresden veranstaltet hinzu kamen weitere in Deutschland und Polen. 
2024 startete ein weiteres Projekt, 
Gepflegtes Klopfen series, ein podcast Kanal.

Ab juni 2025 mit eigener Radio Sendung - Kekscore moments
auf Evosonic Radio, jeden ersten samstag im Monat zu hören.

In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his love for electronic music. Eventually, in 1998, he began DJing under the name Sebastian Keks. A 100% vinyl DJ with full dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into a small techno label, Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closing in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden. In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno.  In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks.
2025 start as Radio Host for Kekscore moments, on Evosonic Radio...
