First live attempt at a song I wrote on a Dobro. I tuning an acoustic guitar to open G and gave it a try with WT on drums.

This song is what I believe to be the hardest form to write: satire. To write a song that says one thing, and mocks something else. And of course, if I'm taking the piss, write the song in a style I never write in...country/bluegrass. Here's the lyric:

I play a wide mix of music with a lot of different people. Currently playing most with Midnite Radio in Americana format and Eleventh Hour in a little more groove and rock oriented sound.

Greetings from Hershey, PA. My names Keith. I write and record music that lies somewhere in the Americana and Bluegrass traditions. My name is Lana Maree. I am a  singer/songwriter, poet and sound healing practitioner.

I channel words, sound and music through the impulses of movement, stillness and listening.

I compose, write and perform solo and also with the groups Star Sister Revival and The Society for Sacred Listening. 

I've produced 2 albums and a book of poetry, Careless Blossoming. I won an award for best song, which was picked up by Snatam Kaur called Peace and Harmony. Two of my poems have been nominated for Pushcart Awards, How We Forgive and Blue Resuscitation and one of my poems, A Woman Wilding, is going to the moon for a project that is sending art, music and literature to the moon.

I currently play in 2 groups, Star Sister Revival and The Society For Sacred Listening. I also write regulary on Substack and am currently working on writing stories from my memoir into monologue format for performance.

I love finding new and ancient ways, like singing and creative expression, to reconnect to, and deepen my relationship and connection to others, the Earth and her myriad forms of life and creation.

David Michael DiGregorio is a composer and musician based in New York and Honolulu. His background includes classical and improvised technique on the piano, diverse vocal methods, performance with a gospel choir, electro-acoustic composition, and experimental pop construction.

His discography features albums IN KOREAN WILDS AND VILLAGES (as dogr, 2009), produced by Andi Toma and published by Sonig Records; and two Bayerischer-Rundfunk-2 broadcast commissions with Sung Hwan Kim, HOWL BOWEL OWL (2013) and ONE FROM IN THE ROOM (2010, for which the two won the Karl-
Sczuka-Förderpreis).  

His major concerts include Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Pirelli HangarBicocca, Milan; New Museum, New York; Barakat Gallery, Ilmin Museum, and Insa Art Space, Seoul; De Nieuwe Kraakgeluiden and STEIM, Amsterdam; IFFR, Rotterdam; Huis aan de Werf and BAK, Utrecht; the Images Festival, Toronto; Project Arts Centre, Dublin; etablissement d’en face, Brussels. Group concerts include MoMA PS1 and Danspace Project, New York.

Later works include HAIR IS A PIECE OF HEAD, exhibited at the Busan Biennale 2022 and the Hawaiʻi Triennial 2022; the Venice-Biennale-commissioned film LOVE BEFORE BOND, 2017; composition and performance in the operatic experiment 피나는 노력으로 한 [A WOMAN WHOSE HEAD CAME OUT BEFORE HER NAME] (2015), commissioned for the Asian-Arts-Theatre, Gwangju; music for the Tate-Modern-commissioned 2012 film TEMPER CLAY, which has also been shown in an extended installation version at Kim’s solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 2021. DiGregorio also has collaborated with artists Danai Anesiadou, Rosa Barba, Byungjun Kwon, Martín Lanz Landázuri, Otobong Nkanga, Jewyo Rhii, and Haegue Yang.

Mowesby creates thoughtful, genuine, contemporary folk songs. Inspired by indie folk, post rock, and prog rock giants like Bon Iver, Sigur Ros, and Pink Floyd, Mowesby’s music transports listeners into a world where syncopated rhythms weave through emotive vocals, creating a sense of intimacy and engagement between the artist and his audience.

Started out as a drummer shortly after the last ice age. 

With the advent of electricity, I grew sick of being the guy who hung around with the real musicians, so decided to teach myself to write songs. 

Years later, and studio hours too numerous to mention, I've reached the point where I don't suck at it.

I do what I can with the engineering side, but due to some industrial deafness, there's bound to be things I miss. 4kHz? What the fuck is 4kHz? Ohhhh, right....that's the area that's buried in all that tinnitus!

This is the point where most bios will pad the writer's ego, inflating self importance...which I hate, but I'm human, so here's just a bit. Spent years playing sessions, mostly for bands you've never heard of but also for a heap of adverts you probably have. Learned lots of studio craft from some very talented people. Studied production with a Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer for seven years. 

And none of it means a hill of beans in respect to the following question: is the music good? If you think so, then little else really matters, does it?

I have three studio assistants. All are feline, and none of them like asparagus.
