In Medias Res means stories that start in the middle of things, or even at the end.  It is a very old narrative device created by the Ancient Greeks that many filmmakers have used to varying degrees of success.  So naturally we thought that deserved a no-holds-barred, incredibly arbitrary Bracket Challenge Battle to the Death!
