Like breathing, improvisation is an unconscious flow from within.
Of course, one must understand the basics and have spent a good many hours building a tonal memory, but once one gets the knack of it, improvising, no matter what the instrument, is a Gift that keeps on giving. :)

As you tap into these inner autonomic cycles, you reach a Zone that's beyond anything you could consciously think of or plan. Like one's heartbeat, it's in tune with Life itself. It just happens. 

In any case...I love it when the Music is 'Floating'.......'Levitating' so to speak... not really going anywhere in particular, but tonally and rhythmically totally Present.  And... as we get better and better at finding the door to this experience, more and more wondrous music begins to manifest itself through us. it's almost as if we aren't even present.

Then the hard work of Arranging and Mastering begins!  :-D 

But be that as it may... for the Best experience of this one, I suggest you put it on Repeat at a Medium volume and let it go for 10-15 minutes.  it's sure to help you 'take a breath', become lost in peace, and relax deeply. :D

Tasteful Melodic Lines

Acoustic Piano contains 2.5GB of samples, with over 350 individual acoustic piano loops organized into 34 performance-based folders. Each folder provides a collection of related phrases in a particular tempo/key combination. Folder tempos span the range of 60 to 90 BPM, ideal for a laid-back feel. Individual phrases vary between 2 and 8 bars (up to 32 seconds long), making it easy to combine phrases within a folder into extended performances with plenty of musical variation. Elastik allows you to adjust both tempo and key with ease to match your overall project.


Jazz-Based Chord Progressions

To add some sonic options, two versions of each of the 34 folders are provided. Both versions feature the same content, but one features a brighter, more brilliant piano tone, while the other offers a mellower felt sound with lots of pedal and key action mechanic noises. These two versions provide different moods but also combine easily to create individual performance dynamics.

The playing style focuses on jazzy chord progressions with tasteful solo lines on top. The content combines beautifully with other instruments such as drums, bass, guitar, saxophone, trumpet or vocals. There's no doubt about it, Music animates my Soul! As an enthusiastic Student of Life and a Passionate Improvisational Pianist &  Composer,  as far as I'm concerned,  our lives would be impoverished without it ! :)  Composing is all about 'Sharing the Joy, Passion and Angst' we experience in Life, as well as connecting up with Musicians and 'Creatives' worldwide. This makes it even more wonderful!  That willingness to engage in whatever way makes SC an ever-expanding Movable Feast that nourishes and inspires on so many levels. 

Music Communicates the Emotional and Informational Content and Context of Heart, Mind, Spirit, and Soul. And 'Letting it Flow' is 'Where Its At' as I hear it!  

Over the past few years since becoming part of the SoundCloud Family, my 'Joy in and Passion for' Creative Musical Expression has increased exponentially as has my appreciation of all the wonderfully passionate Musicians and Creatives worldwide who have devoted themselves to Letting It Take Form! 

Here's a bit of a bio, if anyone is interested.  

Somehow, my MUSE got my attention at a tender age. About the time I was completing my Royal Conservatory training. 

My memory being poorer than most, I began improvising in the passages I had forgotten. And while the audience seemed unaware, my teacher chastised me indulgently, saying, "it appears I have a budding composer on my hands"!  And thus began my Odyssey into the wonderful Vibrational world of Sound!:-) In-deed, I have been an ardent, attentive and appreciative acolyte of my Muse ever since. 

During the early 1970s I had the pleasure and honour of a three year friendship and Master Class with the then Octogenarian Composer Manoah Leide-Tedesco , one of Tone Poem giant Richard Strauss` favorite pupils and friend of Maurice Ravel and other 20th century composers such as Stravinsky (whose music he helped popularize). Since then, whether Improvising, listening, studying composition or devoting myself wholly to the visual arts for years at a time, I have been deeply aware that sharing my musical insights , teaching, and or mentoring young aficionados came with the territory!   I love it, although I am afraid that as my consciousness expands...that I know less and less each year! :-)  

The Tonal Oasis called SoundCloud is a fine and wondrous place in oh so many ways.  And with your support and appreciation, I de-Light to share my music with an ever widening audience. I call what i upload ' Sound-Seeds'.  Most of these 'bed tracks' call out to be fleshed out by passionate soloists who somehow Resonate with my Soundz and Ideas.  So please drop me a line, as i am most interested in letting them bear more fruit through collaboration, interpretation, re-mixing or use in other media.    

And on a personal Note, a Huge Thank-You to each and all who listen, inJoy, and Re-Post onwards what finds it's way thru me! :) Bless y'all.  It's my Joy to simply 'Let' the Creative Spirit find expression through this instrument of Body, Mind, and Heart!  I hope you will find some peace, joy, and rest, in at least some of my improvisations, compositions, or soundz.

Few people better than Ikiguy exemplify the new sound of Emirates nightlife: positively global, defiantly refined, above all, groovy. Originally from Milan, Ivan’s Dj sets fluctuate between dynamic elettronic, blended with balearic elements, a mix he has perfected over the last ten years of residencies in Dubai. His lively and joyful sense of experimentation turns his sound into something unique: versatile and organic, Ikiguy reminds us that irony and culture are undoubtedly the ingredients of the future.

Dutch based musician/producer the night service commute started his musical journey ten years ago. He finds inspiration in skateboarding, graffiti, hiphop, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, ska, triphop, radio, blues, cinema, and atmospheres. After finding his own sound he created an eclectic blend of downtempo atmospheric jazz with crushed beats, funk, soul and a pinch of lofi. Currently he is producing and working on new material which is to be released in the near future. For now press play relax and enjoy the ride.
