My songwriting process is all about quick iterations, constant testing, and refining ideas. It’s a “numbers game” for me—I write as many songs as I can, knowing not all will be great. But by writing consistently and revising often, I increase my chances of creating something beautiful. Each song feels like a sprint, a small project I build and evaluate rapidly, keeping what clicks and discarding what doesn’t.

For me, it’s a mix of persistence, introspection, and sometimes collaboration. I’m always trying out new lyrics and melodies, testing, refining, and letting go of whatever doesn’t resonate. In a way, it feels like I’m channeling something beyond myself, letting ideas flow naturally. Often, a song will start with a single line or idea, and I let the lyrics and melody evolve as I write, allowing the process to unfold organically and intuitively.

To give a glimpse into this evolving journey, I’ll be sharing some “Incomplete Songs” along the way. These drafts, unfinished ideas, and works-in-progress reveal the raw, unpolished side of songwriting. By putting these pieces out there, I hope to share the ups, downs, and twists that make the process what it is. These songs may change over time, or some may never quite reach the finish line, but they each play a part in the creative process. Sharing them is a way to let others in on the journey, to see how ideas take shape, change, and sometimes circle back before settling into their final forms.

Yellow wood spilling its secrets, twisting underfoot.

A promise to walk, to feel each stone,
And leaves the other for mornings that won’t come.

One road kept for a day that won’t rise again,
Knowing well that roads grip the heels,
Tie you to the next bend, and to all the bends after.
So he lets it go, a dream forgotten in sunlight.

And someday, he’ll say it mattered, tell of choice,
Of yellow woods that whispered “this way,”
How one road spoke louder, how shadows wrapped around,
And he listened with both feet, leaning in.

Two roads, they call back, they linger in mind,
And he will say that was it—the road itself,
The choice beneath all choices. He’ll claim it true,
And say, with quiet pride or maybe a shrug,
“That made all the difference.”
