The background drone and interment sighs are pure Voltage Modular while the melodic elements use two instances of Dreamsynth both controlled with MIDI data also generated by Voltage Modular. One of the Dreamsynth patches is entirely my own having been built from a blank template and thew other is a modified preset. Other than mastering there are no extra effects.

Everything was recorded in a single "Live" take.

Autumn Dragonfly - (Naviarhaiku - 614)

I'm primarily a visual artist both 2D and 3D, for the last decade I've operated almost exclusively in the digital 3D realm.   since the late 80s I've made periodic forays into the sonic world, MIDI sequencing, minimalism, musique concrète, found sounds  and improvisation. I am seldom happy with anything and seldom consider a piece finished.

DISCLOSURE: AFTER LOST TAPES OF VODA RELEASES, I WILL BE POTENTIALLY ENDING IN OBSIDIAN. I LOVE THE PROJECT, I LOVE MAKING MUSIC. I SPENT A LOT OF MY YOUNG ADULT LIFE INVESTING MY TIME INTO CRAFTING MUSIC BUT, NEVER REALLY GAINING TRACTION. NOW, IM NOT SO SURE IF I CAN CONTINUE TO PURSUE IT. I HAVE LOVED CREATING THE UPCOMING ALBUM "LOST TAPES OF VODA" AND I THINK IT IS THE BEST MATERIAL IVE EVER WORKED ON. TO PURSUE FURTHER HOWEVER, MEANS OTHER PRIORITIES IN MY LIFE HAVE BEEN PLACED ON HOLD AND I DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO CONTINUE LOSING THAT TIME. IT WILL ALWAYS BE A PASSION OF MINE, AND I MAY RETURN TO THE PROJECT ONE DAY, I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THE IDEA OF TEN RECORDS WITH NINE OUT. PART OF ME FEELS I NEED TO MOVE ON FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH AND FINANCIAL WELLBEING. MUSIC IS A BEAUTIFUL THING HOWEVER, IN THIS CURRENT CLIMATE, THE INDUSTRY HAS BECOME POISONOUS, RELYING ON STREAM COUNTS TO MAKE PENNIES, PAYING TO SUBMIT TO PLAYLISTS, IT JUST FEELS SO UNATURAL AND UNLIKE THE CRAFT ITSELF.  

MY MUSIC WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN ON SOUNDCLOUD, BANDCAMP AND ALL OTHER PLATFORMS. LOST TAPES OF VODA WILL BE RELEASING LATER THIS YEAR. I INTEND TO HAVE ALL RELEASES AVAILABLE TO BUY VINYL.
