Rahel at Earth Frequency Festival 2025 - Mystic Valley Stage @Woodfordia 2025 - Re-recorded LIVE on Beats n' Baklava on BAY FM. 

My great honour to play on Sunday night at our very own stage, Mystic Valley, surrounded by the Mystic family and Northern Rivers tribe. 

Underwater Sunset came to life at Mystic Valley for Earth Frequency Festival's iconic Sunday Session. 

The vibes were electric. The theme was blue. 

Dirty, deep and driving tech house, techno and progressive with lashings of nostalgia including remixes of Moby and Tame Impala, is the recipe for this set.

Bond Jobe is a South African DJ and producer whose journey began in the rural community of Mafakathini, nestled between Pietermaritzburg and Howick. His musical roots trace back to his early teens, where he honed his skills as a church pianist and keyboard player.

Making his debut at Durban's Skyy Vodka Promotional Event in 2012, Jobe has since established himself as a noteworthy figure in electronic dance music. His production portfolio includes standout tracks like "In Your Arms," "Living A Lie," "MAGIC," and "DRIVE AFTER MIDNIGHT," while his work has been featured on prestigious compilations including "Electronica Collective Vol. 8" and "Ibiza ChillOut Top 50." His Deeper Shades Recordings' release of "In Your Arms" particularly showcased his versatility as a producer.

As a radio personality, Jobe has expanded his influence through appearances on Afrobeta Bodega Radio and his own radio podcast "Planet Of House Radio". His label attracts an average of 10,000 listeners worldwide, providing a platform for emerging talent and underground electronic music. A prolific entrepreneur in the industry, Jobe is the founder and manager of multiple record labels including Planet Of House, PlanetXstream, and iNguquko Music. He has also been appointed as the label manager for Mixed in Motion Recordings, the home label for international duo "Lemon & Herb." Through his consistent dedication to both production and label management, Bond Jobe continues to strengthen his presence in the global dance music scene.

Rahel is a DJ, creative educator and event producer. Her musical style and taste is eclectically evolving, tailored to the moment covering many genres of house music - her true love. Rahel plays to the moment and from the heart and her sets incorporate deep, tribal, funky, progressive, Latin, bass, world, tech and organic house as well as downtempo ambient and world electronica. 

Her musical vibe and what she's known for are ample dollops of deep, driving bass lines amidst eclectic vocal samples and atmospheric builds ~ inspired by the way language touches and moves us. 

In 2023, Rahel co-birthed a new high vibration event, Mystic Valley, with her production partner Corqi. They ran their first multi day festival with Sacred Hearts at NYE 2023/4 and have ran multiple sell-out events in the Byron Shire.  

In 2024, Mystic Valley moved into the space of Regenerative Culture Campouts and this included a micro burn for the soul, Pre Genesis, run at a beautiful private property late 2024. In 2025 they ran their first outdoor multi-day boutique festival in 2025, the Sonicles of Narnia, in collaboration with Lab Leaked Beats. 

Mystic Valley had the honour of hosting a stage at Earth Frequency’s 20th anniversary at Woodfordia, representing the best of Northern rivers electronic music culture.

In 2025, Rahel co-birthed a new creative project, the Spoken Word Soireé with Sophie Fleming (nee Coldham), and they have ran 4 sold out open mic evenings of poetry and storytelling collaborating with local cafe owners.  Like Mystic Valley, these nights are thematic, and explore topics of Liminality, Polarity, the Elements and Animal Motifs.

She is a confident and accomplished MC, and holds stage vocal presence well.  

Rahel plays regularly around the Tweed and Byron Bay shire at boutique events and festivals, including Mystic Valley, Balcony Beats, Nudge Nudge and Sacred Hearts, and in a collaboration with Lab Leaked Beats in a separate project called Wild Rumpus. 

She has been fortunate enough grace stages at Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Love Camp, Nudge Nudge Wink Wink and Clitoverse and opened as a support act for Mood Swing and Chevy Bass and Uone.
