DROOGS017 makes its return with a 12" courtesy of Quartz in the form of a razor-sharp two-tracker, showcasing his trademark precision and stripped-back engineering.

The A-side, “Duplicity,” is a masterclass in minimalism cold, skeletal, and immersive, driven by tight basslines and subtle rhythmic shifts. Quartz proves that less truly can hit harder.

On the flip, “Black Prism” a collaboration with Overlook dives into raw ’90s techstep territory. Choppy breaks and haunting stabs build relentless pressure before giving way to a surprisingly blissful finale.

Quartz continues to cement his reputation as one of drum & bass’s most distinctive modern voices.

RUFFHOUSE is a collective consisting of PESSIMIST, VEGA and COOPER. The trio decided to join forces at the start of 2012 and have since been gaining support from some of the major players in the Drum and Bass and Techno scene's.
