This is an EHX Attack Decay set to its envelope-restart tremolo mode, with a Polarbear Drowner v4 (best effect ever!) in the FX loop.  That's running into the WMD Protostar for the filter stuff, and then it's all gained up by the Science Mother Preamp.  Simple enough.  Normally I'd change the settings between he riff and the lead noodle, but I couldn't be bothered.  Still works, I guess.

This is sparse noodle with EHX Attack Decay in a more traditional “slow gear” ramp, with the Polar Bear Drowner v4 and WMD Protostar in the loop. I think I switch on the Echo Degrader at some point…it doesn’t do much but add some noise.

I think this is the Polar Bear Drowner v4 in the loop of the Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay. The A/D stretches everything out and gives that slightly burbly feel as the polyphonic detection glitches out. There might be an EHX Mel9 in front to give it that tonal characteristic, and maybe even a Walrus Sloer in the loop as well. It’s noodle-y, but it sounds cool I think. Recorded direct to iPhone from a Boss IR-2.
