This is my submission for the Snipes Soundbooth x Splice Beat Battle 2024. The beat features a flipped guitar sample that forms the foundation of the song, along with brass stabs, cello phrases, ambience and vocal textures. A thick 808 and reese bass drive the low end, and a powerful snare and kick combo creates the rhythm.

The structure of the beat is divided into 4 verse sections suitable for a cypher, each with slight variations, with the beat evolving over time and becoming more intense. It starts with a dark laidback vibe, then there is a switchup at 1:55 to a more upbeat energetic vibe. There are different transitions and automations to bridge the different sections of the track, and the drum patterns change over time.
