ProblemChild's Eras Tour #5: Live from Montreal💙

Old Montreal (Vieux-Montréal) served as the backdrop for me to explore the theme of Artistry, and play a mix that I've wanted to play and perfect for a long time: electro-classical music. Many classical music purists are not fans of electro-classical music, or remixes/rearrangements of classical music in general. But I'm of the opinion that reimagining a timeless piece of music to better fit the time and place you're in is artistry like no other. After all, that is what DJs do every day! And the great works of classical music are timeless for a reason: they are incredible pieces of music💞 But I'd be a hypocrite if I said that rethinking the way things have been done for decades and centuries is a bad thing!

This was one of the first mix ideas I ever had, way back when I started DJing, but I lacked the technical skill, musical knowledge and artistic mind to pull it off back then. Hopefully I do this time!
