This set of tunes features my new release "Elevate the Space" and also... it brought me something so wonderfully validating as a tunez selecta... coz I didn't play according to plan but according to circumstances, as I normally do but... I have to say, it may be something only DJs might fully understand.. it's a certain type of response or instant feedback... when we merge sounds, push buttons, finesse sliders and twist knobs at appropriate times the magnificent results we're looking for are not always quantifiable.. but it's essentially people responding with moving their body, laughing, smiling and responding to the cadence and the frequencies of it all with pure pleasure and abandonment of self ... escape and elation... the fruits of a DJ job well done...  🥹🔥

A full and happy dance floor, people cheering on a breakdown, cheering at a drop, enjoying and communicating with each other, feeling the music, feeling the beats and bass, with a well calibrated sound system present that isn't too loud that we can speak.. It's especially sweet when it's a very hard won dance floor ... as in from nobody to manybodies! A full-on grooving, happy dance floor..!!? Sigh.. 

Well okay friends, sure..... if you insist.. I will keep making, selecting, and playing music for you until the end of my days!!! 😭🔥💜 

IYKYK... Phew! My heart was, and still is sooooo full of... 🤔..  it's an indescribable feeling that lands somewhere between utter gratitude and absolute awe with a lot of humility... and oh so much love!! 😍🥲 this mix was a dance floor transformation... 

It means the world to me that so many friends, and new faces were out there having a time.. That you all showed up with your hearts open, vibes vibin and smiles beaming! Mmm hmmm! This is what it's all about.. COMM-UNITY! Thank you! 🙏🥰

For the first time, I've been able to properly record a mix through a pioneer mixer.. which is awesome! I recorded this on my iPad using the DJM-Rec app... Unfortunately there's no microphone recording... so on occasion, when I was speaking, I was turning down the music...

I find recording my set, captures some of the moments, the feels and vibes, the people present and everything are somewhat imprinted onto the recording... Frequencies are like that.. many are only felt... or perceived through all the senses at once, not just the ears, resulting in emotions and goosebumpy vibrations, deep connections and healing experiences...   🌈🎼🎶🎵💜
