Theme: Frighten The One Who Frightens!

Sub-Theme: Frighten Those Who Frighten You by Faith!

Scriptures: Psalm 114:1-8 | John 5:1-8

INTRODUCTION 

When the Israelites separated themselves from unclean nations, God's works began to manifest in their lives. In the same way, if you want to see the glory of God in your life, you must separate yourself from what is not of God.

Giving your life to Christ is proof that you believe in Him, and when you truly believe, it is no longer you who lives, but Him in you (Galatians 2:20). This enables you to frighten those who once frightened you—because now, they see the One who is in you.

FRIGHTEN THOSE WHO FRIGHTEN YOU BY FAITH! (John 5:1-8)

The paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda frightened what once frightened him—though in a subtle way. Unlike many other paralytics in Scripture who begged for money, this man was different. He wasn’t there to beg—he was waiting for a move of heaven. He understood that money could not change his condition. His true desire was to walk again. The Spirit of God will discern your true desire and become the answer to it. May you arise in faith and walk!

He chose to remain in a place that couldn’t change his life financially—but could change his life completely. Likewise, there is a place that carries the power to change you: the Church. You did not come to the wrong address—you have chosen the right portion, just as Mary did at the feet of Jesus.

The enemy’s fear is not your material possessions but your faith in Christ. The man at the pool of Bethesda had faith–he believed in the move of heaven. This faith threatens the kingdom of darkness. If you believe in the move of heaven–that God exists and is active—you will see His glory revealed in your life.

This man did not focus on his limitations—he held on to the belief that one day, his life would change. He faced discouragement:
• His condition told him he would never be the first to reach the water.
• People abandoned him—he had no one to help him.

Faith is not easy. You will face discouragement but you must hold on with tenacious faith—stubborn faith. May your faith frighten your condition and intimidate the very things that once intimidated you.

On that day, Jesus was supposed to be at the temple—but He was led by the Spirit to the pool instead, because this man’s faith and perseverance attracted heaven. Your attitude in the face of fear can pull heaven into your situation.

The sickness of this man was older than Jesus—what great faith! For 38 years, he never changed his position. He waited knowing that his help would come. And on that day, the one who approached him was not an ordinary man but the Root of David Himself!

When Jesus arrived at the pool, He asked, “Do you want to be made well?” (John 5:6).
Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, is asking you the same question:Do you want your situation to change? The One who changed the condition of the paralytic is still able to change yours.

CONCLUSION

And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Lack will be afraid of the Lion who is in you because He is greater than the one who is on the earth! Jesus is King, seated on the highest throne! He is a multi-system God. He is eye of the blind, crutch of the paralyzed, the bread of the hungry, the mouth of mute and the ear of the deaf. He raises the poor from the dust in order to sit them among the great of the earth. 

The God in whom you believe in is the Almighty God who does not change! He does not look at your skin color or your background. He just needs your faith. If you enthrone Him in your heart, He will frighten that which was frightening you. He is our victory!

I'm Parker and I'm here to serve something different

SoulLander produces electronic music. The genres explored by the artist include Techno, Trance, Psytrance, and some sweet umbrella drink vibes. The recording software used is Ableton 11, and the microphone is a RODE.

My biggest inspiration for the low end, "which I'm still working on," is Shenanigan. Other influencers are the legends Ananda Shake. However, my music doesn't resemble any of theirs but is solely influenced by their technical skills within their genre.

My goal with my music creation is personal in the sense that I feel good creating music; it's like nourishment for the soul. I would like to share the energy I get from creating it through dance.
