The Stifling Nothing

Flipperkugeln drifts through the haze of memory like smoke curling above an old pinball machine — a song about loss, routine, and the moments that linger when love suddenly ends. It captures that strange quiet after someone leaves — when familiar rooms feel haunted by laughter that’s no longer there. Between melancholy and resilience, the song turns heartbreak into motion: spinning thoughts, flashing lights, and a soft ache beneath the pulse. It’s a tender reflection on the chaos of emotion, where even a “game over” can still feel alive.

Flipperkugeln bewegt sich wie Rauch über einem alten Flipperautomaten – ein Lied über Verlust, Gewohnheit und die kleinen Momente, die bleiben, wenn eine Liebe abrupt endet. Es beschreibt diese besondere Stille danach, wenn vertraute Räume plötzlich leer klingen und jedes Detail erinnert. Zwischen Melancholie und Stärke verwandelt der Song Herzschmerz in Bewegung: kreisende Gedanken, blinkende Lichter und ein leises Ziehen unter dem Beat. Eine sanfte Hommage an das Gefühl, dass selbst ein „Game Over“ noch nach Leben klingt.

Захотелось чёт по быстрому записать, без саундизайна, без длинных интерлюдий и бриджев, буквально пару куплетов, обкатать бит, потом на альбом бонус треком пойдёт или перезапишу до полной версии. Ниже текст и его возможная трактовка

Моя трактовка фристайла:
Одинокий телепузик (синтез медиа и биологи то есть современный человек) грустит потеряв атрибуты, из которых собиралась его двойственная идентичность (мода/статус и информация). И это понятно, улитка тоже грустила бы потеряв свой домик-панцирь ведь мир вокруг одновременно враждебен и виртуален, как перестрелка на воображаемой улице, как кошмар, из которого невозможно проснуться. 
Второй куплет описывает улиточку медленно ползущую по воображаемой улице в своей раковине... ой, то есть оно о человеке едущем по своей жизни в такси (то есть передав управление внешнему) под таблетками (то есть приглушив внешние сигналы)... ой, кажется второй куплет всё ещё про грустного телепузика...  Даже заглянув глубоко внутрь себя он видит... Питера Грифина и это совершенно логично, что он видит мультяшного персонажа, когда смотрит в телевизор. Может получится выстроить новую раковину-костюмчик на искусстве? К сожалению, это просто павлиний хвост, та же самая реклама, что и шмотки... у кого-то этот хвост из денег, у кого-то из эмоций, у кого-то из культуры, а суть одна — мир всё так же течёт, скользит через нас и по итогу всех нас замочит.

This is how it all started, at camp Lane Robbins. I had borrowed a counselor's Pink Floyd the Wall Tape.  Being the industrious youth I was, I taped the top part of the tape which allowed me to tape my voice and add my own "Teachers Leave Those Kids Alone". Well my counselor was not too happy when he heard my edit. He gave me an earful and I learned my lesson. 
And so it goes.

"Pictureplane"(Travis Egedy), is a popular artist known for making his come up in the electronic music scene, DIY Venues, also popular for hanging around artists like "Grimes" and "Crystal Castles" in the early come up days of these artist, he is also the one who came up with the word "Witch House" which is a playful word on "House" music, though "Witch House" is now a popular music genre that is enjoyed by many.

"Crystal Castles" are actually one of the very first, if not the first electronic music duo to actually invent "Witch House" music, as you can hear dark beats and sorrow drawn out voices off of some of their early (demo songs/ Demo Album) dating back from "2007" and before that, which is crazy to think since during that time "Witch House" did not have a name for itself yet.
