Syrinx Music’s second 2025 release treads the same route as that of recent EPs by Dylan Cote and endloskosmos: forward-thinking, experimental club tracks taking cues from various kinds of bass music. Though this is Eue’s first release on our imprint, the French producer is no newcomer: his discography is on the extensive side, with many projects published on worldwide imprint over the last ten years. Eue’s name is also associated with eclecticism, as he’s tried his hand at genres as diverse as drum&bass, trip hop, beats, techno and many more.

In line with Syrinx Music’s aesthetics, Incarnation and Possession brings Eue’s sharp sound design and angular drum patterns at the crossroads between the club and the lab. Each of these three cuts feels carefully chiseled, with patient care given to drum variations and melodies infiltrating a thick cloud of textures to deepen the soundscapes. Anchored in d&b and faster varieties of bass music, Incarnation and Possession leans on deep, heavy subs, but they serve as foundations for the tracks to build upon, looking at other directions: “Element” for instance brings jazzy vibes to the mix as a way to end the EP on a more aerial take, in contrast with the two title tracks and their esoteric atmosphere.
