Remember the little murder bears in Return of the Jedi? Well, they got a couple of made for TV movies from back in the 80s. This month we’re discussing ALL Star Wars movies, both feature film and TV movies, in a true and final chronological order that is not up for debate. Sorry but we got the final word on this one but we’re excited to present to you your new opinions and we got a couple of Ewok movies that fit snugly between “Empire Strikes Back” & “Return of the Jedi”. They’re pretty well panned kids movies and the one we’re starting off with “CARAVAN OF COURAGE: AN EWOK ADVENTURE” from 1984 definitely takes its critical lumps. But y’know what? That kid is kinda cute running around with Wicket on their little Tolkienesque adventure but that brother of hers, Mace? Oof. What a little shit. They have to save this kid from himself so many times. He gets the heroic feat at the end but are we gonna have to sit through another movie with this character? (More on that tomorrow) Also, those spiders. Yeesh. They cleaned these up and put them on Disney+ so I couldn’t pull many good scenes of Mace constantly crying and almost dying. Why is he dressed like an X-Wing pilot?

Caravan Of Courage:  An Ewok Adventure (1984)

For May’s movie theme, FORCED, we’re discussing every Star Wars film in chronological order including the made for TV movies and we wrap up the “Made for TV Trilogy” with the 1985 follow up to “Caravan of Courage” called “EWOKS: THE BATTLE FOR ENDOR”. Cindel and Wicket are back and that annoying Mace kid? Dead. In fact, the whole family except Cindel is dead and most of the Ewok village is abducted by Orc looking dudes. I’m sure it was all Mace’s fault somehow but this movie is definitely better than its predecessor. Quality is assured because we got ourselves a space hermit played by none other than Wilford Motherfucking Brimley. He may be gruff but he’s got a good heart and will eat all of your porridge. He’s also got a little buddy named “Teek” who runs real fast and is a total scamp. When the sorceress bird lady kidnaps Cindel, then Wilford, Teen and Wicket got to go to the orc castle to rescue her and the rest of the Ewoks. More training for when the Empire comes. Cindel has a new daddy now and let’s hope he has access to proper refrigeration for his insulin.

Ewoks: The Battle For Endor (1985)

May’s theme is FORCED, in which we discuss all the Star Wars films in chronological order and we’re now wrapping up the original trilogies with our discussion of RETURN OF THE JEDI from 1983. This hit franchise flick pretty much sets the tone of what Star Wars will become, jam packed and somewhat convoluted. Its success leads to this inevitability but Return of the Jedi is high on adventure and cool looking creatures. We meet Jabba the Hutt and the Ewoks. Also, we got another Death Star which is another clue that this franchise might be heading back to the well too many times. Boba Fett really goes out like a sucker. Of course we get full Emperor here, probably the best parts of the movie, and an unmasked Darth Vader who pretty much dies from getting a limb hacked off. You would think he would have been used to that by now. Fuck it. Let’s burn his body and see what kinds of party favors they have on Endor. These murder bears really know how to get down. They got the shit that makes you see visions of all the Jedi your dad killed. Including Yoda, that bitch.

209. Does The First Hake’s Sale Of The Jeff Jacob Collection Reflect The Current Star Wars Market?

MPC one plus, Roland J6, and a aahhhhh.   ITS SAFE   Following their mighty victory over the Humans and their disregard for peace last week, the Revenge of the Plants seemed complete. Indeed, they went on to conquer a large portion of the galaxy. Dense and impenetrable jungles and forests were growing everywhere and the Plants were devouring everything they came across. But little did they know that hidden away in the undergrowth of a little forest-covered planet, deep under their successful propagation, some surviving bipeds were beavering away on a revenge story of their own…
Small, furry teddybear-like, cute and cuddly creatures called Ewoks had gathered their homemade synthesizers and started to jam a mystical tune which slowly caused the dense foliage of the plants to recede and die away, allowing them to live freely and happily once more. Little did they know, however, that there were other bipeds watching them from a vast space ship far above, with dark and sinister motives in mind… The Ewoks were also blissfully unaware of the forces of good who were locked in battle with these agents of the dark side.
Your challenge this week is to imagine you are one of those Ewoks and jam for your life and the life of the planet! Or, for the darker-minded amongst you, jam the music you might hear on your break whilst working in the Death Star. If you are feeling truly heroic, you could make a jam inspired by a rather famous X-Wing fighter flight.

so many songs that i forget to share. remember, some people don't listen to music, they only hear and are attracted to annoying buildups and sounds, and don't have the patience to listen for 20 seconds to the same sound. they underestimate what music is. they are stuck on one sort of sounding 15 seconds sort of song and everything else is bad in their eyes. a guitar sounds like a guitar, the whole song, so do synths so do my songs. when I listen to my songs, im stunned by myself because I forget how I made it, it's a super complex route I go through for each song to get it how I want. each and every time a different trip. i need more variation, and more buildups, I know but then it's not anymore how I wanted it how it sound.  if it sounds good and beautiful then yeah, ill use it.

Chr1smasta DLOTD (Dark Lord Of The Decks) is my DJ name and is inspired by another passion of mine Star Wars!!

44 year old Drum and bass producer and DJ from Birmingham.
Been DJing close to 30 years. Started at 15 with a pair of belt drive decks and some borrowed vynil. I caught the rave scene hard and fell in love with the high energy music.

Played a few events and clubs in midlands before giving it all up at 21 for family life and a real job!!!

Played around on a home setup until 2018 when I took the reigns back and started DJing with a passion. Went to Ibiza DJ retreat and met some great people and DJs out there (Rob Anderson & Brandon block) and played out at Ibiza Rocks for the Wonderland after party and played Inhalar in the old town the night after. Came home and hit the socials hard and went from tech house back to my roots in drum and bass and jungle. Started producing in 2020 and have self released around 10 tracks now. I know my style and never deviate from my Darkside path. (although I do enjoy a naughty bootleg)
I don't go in for gimmicks or change my style to what's currently popular. I'm in this for the long run and enjoy every moment of this life
