The Exit Trance label (part of Exit Tunes) in Japan has provided many cheesy, uplifting and quirky releases over the years. As well as trance compilations, there are a huge amount of remixes of stuff like film scores, classical symphonies, anime soundtracks and even one all about remixes of Japanese train station arrival & departure melodies

Some of the latter are in this mix. Plus a remix of Nessun Dorma, of course. I had the idea to do this due to the spellbinding version of "Komm, Susser Tod" by Florence. I heard that, and knew I'd record a whole mix around it.

A talented, Warsaw-based DJ with a distinct sound and a selection that always intrigues and surprises.

Fresh off a short trip to Berlin, Cezary brought back memories of Berlin Calling and the early influence of Paul Kalkbrenner — and you can clearly hear that in this set: dark, immersive, and emotionally charged. A mix that perfectly reflects the mood of the season.

Czart is definitely one to watch, and I’m truly glad to share his sound in this series.
