I run a music production club at the school I work at, once I've taught the pupils how sampling works they then dig for samples and send me stuff they want to flip, this beat was made at this weeks club on Monday, was crazy I did not hear anything in the sample at all but when we chopped it up and worked out this flip, was crazy. The drums just came naturally didn't really have to do too much. So yeah I can't take credit for finding this sample, and the flip was for sure collaborative. Hopefully the pupils involved put out music themselves one day so I can credit them as co producers etc. 

Nas remix just sounded right over this beat, matched the hardcore energy for sure. Represent is defo one of my favourites off Illmatic, it always used to be Represent and One Love that were clearly my favourites, but now I just love the whole album and I honestly only ever listen to it all the way through nowadays. 

I tested this mix loud on the massive speakers on the school theatre and it sounded good, defo going to be referencing on them every week now.

Being an in house producer and engineer for some of the Twoface Media roster (Chump Service, Sheol Dynasty, Space Kase, Pestilence, a darker path) Jester Exodus is no stranger to the world of production. Many of his instrumentals flex an experimental muscle, and while some may be a bit more traditional, others are quite difficult to file by style. Using a combination of software and hardware, beats vary from being sample heavy, to completely hand crafted. After years in the game, it's time to start focusing even more on producing.

Besides the hip hop style that Exodus is known for, he produces many forms of digital music. From downtempo to drum and bass, or ambient to industrial, the sound of Jester is a catalog that is continuously growing.
