Gee Lane, born Virginia Elena Ramírez Iragorry, is a Venezuelan DJ and vinyl collector with a deep passion for music that spans over two decades. Based in Barcelona, Gee has become a significant figure in the global music scene, blending her eclectic taste in soul, funk, house, disco, afrobeat, and latin sounds into her vibrant DJ sets. Raised in Caracas, she was musically influenced by her father, a composer and musician, who sparked her early love for diverse genres.

In the late 90s, Gee moved to New York, where she immersed herself in the city's rich musical culture. The iconic "Body & Soul" parties, helmed by legends like François K, Danny Krivit, and Joe Claussell, became her musical sanctuary, inspiring her to pursue a career as a DJ. Over time, Gee developed her own distinctive style, characterized by bold, passionate selections that seamlessly fuse various genres, making her a sought-after performer at festivals worldwide.

Her career has seen her grace stages at prestigious events such as Sónar, Primavera Sound, and Berghain-Panorama Bar, alongside DJ heavyweights like Laurent Garnier, Lil Louis or Honey Dijon. Gee is also a key member of the Berlin-based Toy Tonics crew, and her debut EP, Metamorphosis, was released on the label in 2023, with a follow-up, Synesthesia, dropped in 2024.

Beyond DJing, Gee Lane curates radio shows like Table for Two on Radio D59B (Belgrade) and VibeDelicious on Radio C/C (Barcelona), where she showcases the best emerging talent from around the world. Her influence in the electronic music community is undeniable, with DJ Mag naming her one of the eight emerging artists to watch in 2024.

With her unique blend of genres and a natural ability to read and engage with her audience, Gee Lane continues to push boundaries, bringing fresh, eclectic sounds to dance floors across the globe.
