Hollow Echoes

Echoes of 7 Seconds is my hip-hop reinterpretation of a moment from The Guide (Wommat) by Youssou N’Dour featuring Neneh Cherry 1994. I started this remix back in 2010, and after years of shaping it, it’s finally complete in 2025.

This instrumental flip keeps the spirit of the original alive while adding drums, space, and rhythm to make it my own.

Respect to Youssou N’Dour and Neneh Cherry for the inspiration.

Romeo finds Juliet in the tomb, believing she is gone. Frozen ambient stillness, hollow echoes, and fragile voice motifs shape this heartbreaking scene of loss and longing.

“Juliet in You” is a chamber opera in twelve scenes inspired by the eternal tragedy of Romeo and Juliet — not as a retelling, but as an inner journey. This album is not about Verona. It is about the Juliet that lives inside every soul that dares to love.

From the sleeping city to the garden after rain, this work follows the fragile path of love, sacrifice, loss, and quiet rebirth. Minimalist neoclassical textures, ambient shadows, whisper-vocals, and cinematic silence weave together a living трагедия of the heart.

Nada Samir is a gifted German singer and songwriter hailing from Frankfurt am Main. Born on June 18th, 1996, she has created a unique sound blending elements of pop, indie pop, and R&B soul. DJ G.I.D., a true pioneer of the electronic music scene in Koblenz / Germany, kicked off the very first Groovalistic Party in 1995, alongside his DJ buddies and friends, M-Pire and Oldcut. Throughout the '90s and '00s, they took over nearly every club in and around Koblenz, showcasing their distinctive blend of Electrofunk, BigBeat, Drum'n'Bass, Jungle, Breakbeat, Downbeat, and Dub. The Groovalistic Party soared in fame beyond the confines of Koblenz, often packing clubs to the brim, sometimes with crowds exceeding 1,000 people – sheer madness! This popularity allowed them to host renowned guests from Germany, Austria, and especially England, including DJs, live bands, and video artists. But the Groovalistic DJs Oldcut, G.I.D., and M-Pire didn't just stay local; they toured across Germany and neighboring countries.

Now at 56, G.I.D. remains a fervent vinyl enthusiast and passionate DJ. Once known for carrying hefty crates of records, he has since embraced digital DJing and amassed a vast collection of digital tracks. Always on the hunt for something new, he has continually broadened his musical tastes: from Downtempo to Global Bass, Electronic Worldbeats, and experimental Bass and Dubstep stuff, whether straightforward or playful – no two sets are ever the same. His sets are versatile, thrilling, and full of variety. We're all eager to see what musical journey he'll take us on next.
