My Echostage debut was surreal. Truly a dream come true playing at Echostage, and even crazier that I did it all opening for the group that introduced me to the genre of Drum n' Bass.

Big shoutout to the crew at Club Glow for the dream booking (let's run it back), to Chesapeake Creative Agency for the media, to BLACKHOUSE for suggestions and behind the scenes help, and to all the DMV local DJs (DnB and non DnB), friends, and family who have given me endless support.

Leaving it all out there next time, Echostage. Gonna go crazy, I can't wait.

Remade the Zedd and Knock2 intro from their debut B2B set at Echostage. Wanted to attempt to remake the Beautiful Now Ultra intro for a long time so here we are. All tracks (EXCEPT song vocals and Knock2's Feel U Luv Me) have been replayed and arranged based off of what could be heard on video/footage. Huge shout out to ‪DerekD2‬! (Thank you for your services). I did cut off Feel U Luv Me at the end as I didn't want to get flagged but may upload a version with the full song at a later time. Hope y'all like it. Any feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!

Born in Arlington, Virginia, Gonzalez grew up listening to his dad’s rock (Eagles, Aerosmith) and his mom’s Spanish music (merengue, cumbia). When Roberto got hooked on electronic dance music at the legendary Zei Club in DC, he taught himself to deejay on his brother's turntables and the rest is, as they say, history.
 
Roberto’s “gigography” includes Chroma, Dream, Spank at MCCXXIII, Ultrabar, Lima, Josephine, Glow at Fur, Echostage and Identity Festival at Jiffy Lube Live. “Mainly Glow events,” Gonzalez smiles. “I’ve always been loyal because that’s my home turf.” He now holds one of DC’s most distinguished deejay residencies.
 
Pete Moutso, whom Gonzalez regards as his mentor, says with obvious pride, “I am an old school deejay at heart. I believe that you have to pay your dues as a deejay to succeed, and Roberto Gonzalez has done that…I always get compliments from deejays and agents on Roberto! And his productions have gotten attention from the likes of Tiësto and Kaskade – ‘nuff said!”
