A multi-genre musical story dedicated to DixonCider, the legendary trap queen who lures in “Big Players” only to flip the game on them. This mix is her playbook—flirty, rebellious, and razor sharp.

🎶 Mix #1 – Shadow Embrace
This section builds on intense attraction and secret rendezvous—echoing a lover's desire to be inside as night falls. “Here Comes The Dix” signals the arrival of DixonCider herself, playfully announcing the bait. “Can’t Get Enough” adds urgency, an obsessive craving that drives opponents closer. Then comes “Rock Creek Park,” a funk classic literally about doing it in the park… after dark. Passion sets the scene—but it's all a setup. The trap is disguised as seduction.

🎶 Mix #2 – Quiet Before the Storm
“Put a Lid On It” urges calm and composure, a jazzy cooldown after the heat. But then, out of nowhere, “Teach Me How to Scream” flips the mood—an emotional outburst begging to be unleashed. These tracks contrast serenity and chaos. In the trap keep narrative, this is the bait-and-switch: DixonCider lulls the attackers into thinking she’s vulnerable, then snaps. The moment of calm turns into shock. The trap has begun.

🎶 Mix #3 – Unchained Escape
t.A.T.u.’s “Not Gonna Get Us” is a defiant anthem of escape. Paired with Jamie Roy’s pulsating “Organ Belta,” this section feels wild and free. It represents that instant when the big players second-guess the attack. They see the small keep, laugh it off. “We’re fine. Not gonna get us.” But it’s already too late. In trying to escape, they fall deeper into the snare.

🎶 Mix #4 – Time’s Up / Humble Truth
“Doin’ Time” captures the fallout—when betrayal starts to feel like a sentence. The opponent realizes they’re caught. Then Kendrick’s “HUMBLE.” hits hard. “Sit down. Be humble.” This is where the mirror flips. The attackers are exposed, ego bruised. DixonCider’s genius is revealed. The trap has closed. Now they're the ones doin' time, and she’s already moved on to the next move.

🎶 Mix #5 – Rebel’s Anthem
Danzig’s “Mother” is pure rebellion—raw, defiant, unfiltered. It’s DixonCider’s declaration that she’s playing her own game. “Street Knowledge” brings it into the now—urban, confident, wise. Together they say: don’t mess with a woman who knows the streets AND the strategy. This is her victory lap. The enemies are broken, and she’s still standing. The rebel wins.

Stickerland nods toward a satirical representation of an imagined yet visible cultural shift where technology and the human story intertwine, often resulting in disjointed and broken systems. This framework is based on observation and experience which serves as the foundation for Stickerland's creative practice, allowing it to explore the complexities and absurdities of the lived ‘uncanny valley’ gorged by progress.
