I first bought Traktor in 2009, and my journey with electronic music has been a series of on-and-off explorations ever since. While I’ve always claimed to play both house and techno, I have always in the past found myself primarily drawn to Techno. But recently, that has changed. I have been discovering a new voice and method to my madness. House music, born and refined by dancers and musicians, all seeking moments of poetry and divinity in the dance hall.  So here I am, doing something new! A mix that is entirely house music. I hope it makes you dance, or at least awakens the idea...

Summer into Fall House Mix

Truly grateful to have played a Cheeky Early Sunday Morning Set at the Pachena Bay Music Festival on the traditional territory of the Huu-ay-aht First Nations. This impromptu set took place during the energetic transition of the All Nighters heading to bed and the Early Risers arriving on the beach. The dedicated dancers weren't fazed by the fog & rain as we warmed up the beach and burned off the clouds.

The highly anticipated release of "U Be Mine" by Eddie C and LJ Simon is a notable addition to the already rich catalogue of the Barcelona-based imprint Balearic Ensemble. Available in digital and a limited edition with only 150 vinyl copies, it features remixes from Lex, Da Silva, and Marcello Giordani aka Italo Deviance.

The journey of bringing "U Be Mine" to fruition began over a year ago when Eddie C sent the original demo to the label. The initial impression was one of boundless excitement as the track's lyrical bass, euphoric stabs, and iconic delay captivated everyone who heard it. Recognizing its potential, Da Silva, the Balearic Ensemble big honcho, worked tirelessly to refine the theme for club play. Eddie C's quick master, dubbed the “Cash Version,” became an instant hit at parties from Lisbon to Ibiza, solidifying the cut's place as a dance floor essential. The label then enlisted a team of balearic experts to add their unique touches, creating a diverse and rich listening experience.

Among the standout remixes is master Da Silva's seven-minute club-ready version. With tight kicks and searing acid lines, the boss elevates the track to new heights, making it perfect for peak-time play. His meticulous attention to detail and ability to blend various elements seamlessly result in a remix that is both energetic and sophisticated. Da Silva's contribution ensures that "U Be Mine" remains a versatile and captivating piece, ready to thrill audiences around the globe.

Eddie C is a Canadian DJ, producer, and vinyl enthusiast known for his warm, groove-driven blend of disco, house, funk, and balearic sounds. Originally from Southern Ontario, Eddie’s musical journey began in the late ‘80s, influenced by hip-hop and the early acid house scene. He started by making tape edits of late-night radio shows and immersing himself in warehouse parties.

His diverse taste and deep record knowledge were honed through years of university radio and 1990s raves, eventually leading him to craft eclectic, soulful DJ sets that span boogie, slo-mo disco, and deep house.

In 2010, Eddie founded Red Motorbike, a vinyl-only label that’s become a cult favorite for its dusty, analog-inspired cuts. His productions and edits have appeared on respected labels like Razor-N-Tape, Endless Flight, and Crue-L Records.

Now based in Vancouver Island - after leaving Berlin in 2020 and being a nomad for three years - he continues to tour internationally, thanks to his soulful, genre-blending sets and unwavering dedication to underground music culture.

Wahine–an award-winning radio show host, music blogger, interviewer, and event producer–has worn many hats since returning to the decks after a 10-year hiatus. Her comeback began with winning the Defected Croatia Mix Contest in 2019, making her international debut at the festival and reigniting her DJ career.

Her appearance at the Defected festival alongside house legends and luminaries propelled her into the spotlight of the international disco and house scene, leading to her current status as a globally celebrated talent. 

She co-hosts Spin City on MyHouseRadio.fm and is a Passion Ibiza Radio resident. She has contributed guest mixes to various platforms including NTS, Mi-House, Sinestesia Ibiza, and Disco Deviance.

Her mashups have charted on Hypeddit, gaining support from radio shows worldwide. She hosts events in Atlanta, including her signature event, Wahine’s Hideaway, featuring international guests like Dicky Trisco, The Silver Rider and The Funk District.

Wahine has supported renowned artists Crazy P, DJ Sneak, Lego, Moodena, Richard Earnshaw, Hotmood, Dicky Trisco, and DJ Disciple at events in Los Angeles, Atlanta, London, and Amsterdam. Her radio show has featured guests such as The Reflex, Aroop Roy, and The Patchouli Brothers.
