I recorded a DJ mix exclusively using tracks from Edit Select, one of the most important and reliable labels in the modern deep techno scene.

This time, I utilized three CDJs to craft a constantly multi-layered mix. The intertwining textures and refrain create an immersive experience into the world of Edit Select.

A compilation of various tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. recorded earlier this weekend at my home studio. 
this latest set is actually a test recording to try out my new configuration and settings on the DB4, 
this A&H mixer still continues to amaze me even after all these years. 
I have been using it so long now in various configurations, but only recent have I discovered the MIDI mapping functions, which finally allowed me to put an 
end to that annoying lag between the timecodevinyl and the internal MIDI clock of the DB4. 
This results in much more comfortabel, fun and smoother mixing.
I feel like the test was successful and I can 
now continue remapping the mixer even more to my personal feel.
(I like my workflow to be as analog as possible, old school. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a digital mixer.)
So now I basically created 2 layers, 1 for FLAC digital/timecode and 1 for good old real vinyl. 
No extra hardware needed, less is more, that's how I prefer it, everything hands-on, on 1 piece off gear. 
So, once more, A signature Default LabMix, please enjoy!

It's been a while but here I'm back with my new LabMix session, LabMix031.
Maybe a little less usual than my previous sessions, I start this one with a slightly softer approach and I let myself be inspired by the STOOR concept of Speedy J. 
As usual the first hours of this concept are always very accumulative, mostly starting from dreamy scapes and floating offbeat sounds, the improvisation collective searches and evolves bit by bit towards a fixed 4-to-the-floor rhythm. If I may say, I am really satisfied with my own interpretation of a STOOR (on Sunday) night.
In short, a 2-hour deeeeeeeeeeep techno mix in which I search the way to "Re-Establishing Connections"

His career is marked by multiple collaborations with other artists including Jérôme Pacman, Jef K (silvernetwork), Freddy (scream), 
Sébastien Bromberger (Modelisme), Olivier Daric (Euterpe) and  my mate Julien Parisé (Mister J) from the Missive label with whom he worked in the studio for 4 years on composition, influenced by the work and rigor of Richie Hawtin, with musicologists, he refines the writing methods on spatialization and the spherical movements of frequencies before writing his 1st album scheduled for December 2023 for digital & march 2024 with Yoyaku distribution for vinyls
At the same time, he tests and participates in the development of new mixing software with his sponsor MixVibes 
(creator of the time code final scratch technology, Eric Guez)

Argy K was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. His passion for music emerged in the early 2000s.

In 2011, he began producing his own music, drawing inspiration from prominent artists like John Digweed, Minilogue, Sasha, and Nick Warren.

As an artist, he has released and remixed tracks on various respected record labels such as Karmak Records, Zirben, Progrezo, Regular Beats, Kiss Dance, Budenzauber, Kansak, and HiFi Stories, among others.

He has garnered support from well-known artists including Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Secret Cinema, Stacey Pullen, Steve Lawler, Tesla, Franco Bianco, Filterheadz, Tapesh, Dayne S, and Matt Darey, to name a few.

Argy K has performed at various European venues through his travels including places like ADE, Berlin, Madrid, Granada Finland, and France.

Active since the early 1990s, K THE RATA has explored not only minimal and hypnotic techno but also experimental and diverse sounds. Yet what has remained unwavering throughout his career is a deep commitment to expressions rooted in the underground and leftfield context.

His DJing and productions, backed by decades of experience, are disciplined and technical while also intuitive and emotional. By weaving delicate grooves and frequencies, he transforms the dance floor into a unique artistic space.

Armando Flores is a dj and electronic music producer. It initially started as a dj in the late nineties,mixing progressive house mainly. Later he ventured into other genres such as techno, deep house and dub techno.
Some of his musical influences include John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, also Detroit artists like Jeff Mills, Derrick May and more recently Guy J, Powel, Ruede Hagelstein and Sven Weisemann.
In June 2010, his first album Audio Sedation was signed by greek label, Underground Lessons. This album received good comments by Mexican and international djs as Cio D´Or.
In autumn 2010 Armando and his brother Ricardo Diaz were signed by the legendary NY label Nite Grooves. With this label, they released 3 albums: Crop Circle, Teatro Kabuki and Solar Mirror.
In 2016, Armando had his first release on the Balkan Connection SouthAmerica label called F Destiny.
In February 2017 he released his first album with Electronic Tree Records from Poland called Labyrinth of Monkeys.
At the same time, he began broadcasting his podcast called Keep It Underground (KIU), where he tries to show the best of underground electronic music that reaches his hands.
In December 2018 he released his latest album with british label Stripped Digital called JOURNEY TO THE DEEPEST END.
