Trip Through Bass & Time - Ep. 90

This is a snippet from our 4 hours b2b set for the party series "Auf die Freundschaft" at Humboldthain Club in August`24. We played multigenre with lots of funky house, breaks and edm classics such as the beach by Miss Kittin and the Hacker or funkydisco classics like Dave Lee`s (rock the!:)) casbah breakdown. and when Rosie put on the excursions mix hot in herre by nelly, it was already really really!! super hot in Goldstube, Humbis 2nd floor. Actually this is also the place, where we first met: it was one of these too many DJs nights at Humbis Tuesdays Vinyl Open Decks and Tischtennis. We came too late and were 4 slotless DJs sitting outside and talking about the music, we would have played. But suddenly there was a plot twist, and an hour-long slot became available. We then played a b4b set with Toby and a hip-hop DJ. Rosie and me loved each other's sound so much that we've been DJing together more often since then. I thank the universe and Humbi so much for bringing us together here!

My musical influences lie in the big beaty 90s, dancing to Acid Jazz, 60s and Northern Soul (my top favourite style!!!!), funky Breaks and French house. In the early 2000s in Berlin I discovered soul and funk in electronic dance music. At a legendary b2b set with ZIP (Perlon) and Matthew Herbert in CDV "Club der Visionäre". I love funky fluffy minimal house! I like to play multigenre and all styles. I also love odd things like the Hammond organ cover by Klaus Wunderlich (here I digitized "Uraltedelschnulzen") or MoogCookbook and last but not least the Jazz- Comedy universe of Helge Schneider.:)!
