The Anti Defamation League's Jonathan Greenblatt is once again going after Hasan Piker for criticizing Israel's genocide in Gaza. And Fox News is waging a war on Miss Rachel with a horrible song, saying that Mr. Rodgers would never opine on politics, despite that he very famously advocated for de-segregation and nuclear disarmament. In the Fun Half, Steven Miller is trashing Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society over some of their judge's rulings on immigration. The UAW puts out an anti-Cuomo ad that promotes their endorsement of Zohran Mamdani as well as progressive Brad Lander. Some of the cuts will impact federally-backed science institutions, including weather monitoring. Florida meteorologist John Morales tells his viewers on air that he doesn't think he'll be able to predict the paths of hurricanes this season as he has in previous years because of the defunding of vital monitoring institutions. 2511 - Palantir's Role in Government Surveillance & Activists Disrupting ICE w/ Makena Kelly & Roberto Camacho

Two weeks ago, the centre held in Europe after a Super Sunday of elections in Romania, Portugal and Poland. And that was in part because of Poland where the centrist Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski narrowly beat the nationalist Karol Nawrocki in the first round of the Presidential elections. That is no longer the case. In last Sunday’s run-off, Trzaskowski failed to materialize a victory and lost against Nawrocki, the candidate backed by the right-wing Law and Justice Party.

Today’s guests attribute Trzaskowski’s failure to the fact that Prime Minister Tusk hasn’t been able to pass the significant reforms he promised before being elected almost two years ago. Even though the main reason why he hasn’t been able to do so is because of President Duda from the Law and Justice Party. And yet, Poles elected a President that is only going to make Tusk’s life even harder if not impossible. 

To discuss the fallout from the Polish elections, host Catarina Vila Nova sits down with Leszek Konrad Jażdżewski, Editor-in-Chief of Liberté! and 2022 European Young Leader (EYL40), and Michał Olszewski, former deputy mayor of Warsaw who served under Rafal Trzaskowski for six years and 2015-2016 European Young Leader (EYL40) who currently serves as Board Member of PGNiG TERMIKA, Poland’s leading natural gas company.

Pete Hegseth tries to justify why federal troops are in LA during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing by pushing falsehoods about both the situation on the ground, the state and local response and federal policies involving the deployment of troops. Meanwhile, National Guardsmen are sleeping on the floor in their uniforms because the hap-hazard nature of this whole operation. California's governor Gavin Newsom for his part says he's going to be suing the Trump administration over it's actions and points out that because of these deployments other important efforts like fire safety are being compromised. Donald Trump says that Greta Thunberg should take anger management classes after her peaceful humanitarian flotilla to Gaza was detained in international waters by the Israeli military. Russell Brand, who is looking more ridiculous with each passing day, mocks Greta and is seemingly upset that unlike him she actually acts based on her convictions. In the Fun Half, Chuck Todd talks to Steve Bannon, who is openly questioning whether Elon Musk ever should have had classified clearances that aren't even granted to weapons contractors like Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Scott Galloway also gets in on the beat down on Musk, though he sort of misses the key point which is that Musk (or any individual for that matter) should hold that much power. Greta tells reporters that the very least countries like hers can do now is advocate for an end to the genocide and to recognize Palestine as a state. We're glad she's safe, but Dave Portnoy certainly isn't. He joked about wanting to blow up her ship with a missile, though he's also gotten very touchy about jokes that target Jewish people, while he himself continues to make antisemitic jokes.
