Hace un año, perdí a mi tío, la persona que me abrió las puertas al mundo de la música cuando me regaló su guitarra. Este tema, Runaway, es mi manera de honrar su memoria y de expresar todo lo que él significó para mí.

Runaway de Electric Youth encapsula una energía que conecta la juventud, el amor y la valentía. Habla de dejarse llevar, de buscar algo más allá de lo que tenemos delante, de huir no por miedo, sino por la necesidad de encontrar libertad y propósito. Para mí, esa búsqueda es como la música misma: un viaje hacia lo desconocido, lleno de emoción, nostalgia y fuerza.

A lo largo del tema, utilicé tecnología de audio espacial para dar vida a los instrumentos. Quise que cada uno de ellos ocupara un lugar en el espacio, como si pudieras estar en el centro de una sala donde mi tío estuviera tocando conmigo. Cada nota de guitarra, cada sintetizador y cada capa de percusión resuenan desde un lugar específico, creando una experiencia inmersiva que refleja su legado y la conexión que todavía siento con él.

Runaway no es solo una canción; es una despedida, un homenaje y un recordatorio de que su amor por la música sigue vivo en mí. Al escucharla, espero que puedas sentir esa mezcla de pérdida y esperanza, de despedida y amor eterno. Esto es para él, para la juventud que nunca se desvanece y para el coraje de seguir adelante.
