Premiere: Luxus Varta - Body Care [In Abstracto]

Today's Strange But Dance Music Podcast is prepared by agentapple - a music selector whose favorite thing is finding rarities on Bandcamp and selflessly loving electro, hardcore and acid in all variations and the weirder the better. Here is this mix prepared according to an experimental recipe: 
Sizzling Acid is diluted with outsider electro with tonally sliding pads, stirred with convulsive twitching IDM percussion, and seasoned with a mixture of razor-sharp FM synth timbres and biting breakcore kick.

Strange But Dance Music #73: agentapple

Adrien d'Elzius is a Belgian producer in the business of staying true to himself. While growing up, he was introduced to Aphex Twin signature which astounded and convinced him that he had found the kind of music he would continue to embrace. Additionally, he drew his influence from the Warp, Rephlex, and Planet Mu labels.

Formerly known as hosmOz, the forward-thinking musician entered a creative hiatus to remedy his symptoms of artistic turmoil. He honed his technique by creating melodic acid drill'n'bass sounds, which evolved into a darker sound. After debugging his creative intentions, he dropped his old nickname and the Adrien d'Elzius project was born.

2021 marks his debut on Burial Soil Records with an EP including collaborations with two electro masterminds, Umwelt and Lloyd Stellar. He has since been releasing in the good hands of prestigious labels such as Pyramid Transmissions, Arkada, Diffuse Reality, and Colony Productions. His approach to production demonstrates his technical proficiency and meticulous attention to details. The producer now combines his knowledge in sound design to create music that flows between Idm, electronica, electro, acid and hip-hop, while bringing back his love for melodies and deep atmosphere.
The Artist will be performing in The Hague next to iNDEX crew, which comes along with a forthcoming album for 2022 called “The storm will pass".

In 2016 DJ Daniel Lodig and Martin Sovinz (Dibek) joined forces to create /DL/MS/. Since then /DL/MS/ - records appeared on prestigious labels such as Pomelo, TRUST and Frustrated Funk. In 2018 /DL/MS/ set up their own vinyl-only imprint Vigram, releasing solo projects as well as a banging collaboration with Scottish veteran DJ Dave Tarrida, as Strings Of Death. 
In May 2022 the /DL/MS/ debut album "Calanhi" saw the light of the day via legendary TRUST Records, followed by a remix compilation in December where  some of today´s freshest electro talents deliver stunning versions of Calanhi´s original masterpieces. 
Forthcoming in january 2023 is their Mechatronica debut release entitled "Halo". 
Apart from the record-releases /DL/MS/ have been touring with their live-set, the Elevate festival show in Graz being a highlight of 2022. 
Deep analog bass heavy improvised techno and electro.
