SKYR3SH - Flashback [Plastic Academia]

This mix is a sonic exploration of the deeper and rougher realms of dance music, blending the raw energy of dark electro, the pulsating beats of EBM, and gritty industrial sounds.

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been venturing into a sound that takes inspiration from the raw energy of metal and brings that to the dance floor. It really started with my single "Dark Silence“, which came out last fall, and continued with the unique electronic black metal collaboration we released as Incandescent Trance Ritual earlier this year. By working on these, I feel I’ve grown as an artist and producer by learning how to bring these very different styles together. I felt it was now time to put my DJ hat on again and show that these tracks also work in a mix.

Apart from my own productions, this mix features tracks from artists that have inspired me and that I see as my musical neighborhood. Includes music by Amorphous, Bill Leeb, Tachion-X, Kyunaa, Strvngers, and more.

Félix Pérez artistically known as DJ SKYR3SH, is a DJ/Producer from Asturias, Spain. He started as a dj in 2016 with Studio DJ Center, in Oviedo, where he gave private dj classes and, soon, in 2018, he trained as a producer with Plastic Academia, where he graduated, obtaining a diploma after completing the training as recognition. His music is characterized by the use of powerful basses, electric guitars and synthesizers, among others, but accompanied by melodic instrumentals on most occasions, although he likes to experiment and create different musical styles. In his songs you can notice a strong influence of Rock music, Metalcore, Trance, Chiptune and how his vision of the future is translated into music. So far SKYR3SH has more than 10 songs signed to record labels such as Plastic Academia, Formula Records, Black Turtle Deep and KPR Recordings, where you can find songs from totally different styles such as DnB, Big Room, Dubstep, Synthpop, Hardcore, Midtempo and more.
