Originally producing lofi under “PsychixBeats” this new alias is to experiment with a more electronic sound.

Bringing contrasts and opposites into a toning whole, where the sound, rhythm, emotional or cultural differences emphasised as contrasting individualities, at the same time they stay as a coherent and harmonious whole.  It is the essence how I create and develop my mixes.

MIDIMike is a nick name I got when working at musical instrument stores as a young man.  MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface - I got the job because I was one of the few people in the city that understood and could program the new digital synthesizers!
Over the last 50 years, I have run sound for live gigs, recorded and produced music and videos in my home studio and performed with other bands.  Now that I have retired I wanted to release some of the tunes I have written over the years.  
I write, play and record all my music at home.  I am lucky to have talented musicians join in for some session work and I feature different vocalists and guitarists in my collection of songs.
I am not mainstream and every song is different, so I hope you settle in and try a few of them out!
