The two founders of the Autechs group, Radu Iaszberenyi & Paul Seling met in a cafe, in their hometown, Baia Mare, one of the biggest mining cities in northern Romania. The post-industrial feel of such former communist cities, with thier grim, mass-produced blocks of flats surrounded by heavy industrial facilities left a deep mark in both their lives and their artistic personalities.

The Autechs band seeks to be above all experimental, as the two members share their vision and passion for a laid-back, low-tech, DIY and non pretentious lifestyle. This attitude is reflected in the music they make : unfiltered, dynamic and raw, intelligent and uncompromising.

As the Autechs are advancing in this quest, you can  become witness of their long-term ambition to break rules, question clichees and deconstruct every established preconception about what music should be. And have some serious fun in the meantime.

Se llama Hype (del inglés hyperbole) a un producto, banda musical, película o artista, que debido a una sobrecobertura por parte de la prensa o a través de una publicidad masiva, obtiene una elevada popularidad independientemente de su calidad. 

No Hype!! surge como respuesta a todo movimiento carente de alma y que se sustenta únicamente en el marketing, como protesta contra los prejuicios que genera y aquellas actitudes que, únicamente, se limitan a buscar reafirmar las propias convicciones, marcando un territorio que deja fuera de sus fronteras un abanico inimaginable de estilos.

Ofb1t is an avant-garde electronic music composer, singer, actor and audiovisual/performance artist.

"We could tear apart that petty box called 'human' to unlock the doors of the universe and discover what's already inside us: an infinite potential of becoming-other and experiencing life in new ways. I make music and audiovisual assemblages through aleatory, subconscious and conscious actions, digital potentiating machines with multiple connections in a continuously growing web of desire. I conceive them also as rites of transformation and liberation powered by the undead cosmic vital force while intending to reveal and increase frenetically the body's inner, dark, transgressive potency. My works embody a world with multiple forms of one and the same self-destructive-creative flow of energy full of intensity, animality, accidents and dreams."

Ofb1t's works explore the body in its raw and mysterious connections with the Cosmos at the chaotic existential level while facing an unsolvable tension between life's horror and wonder, and challenge established values and conventions by breaking with dualistic and humanistic mental prisons, such as "Being", "Identity", “Self” or "Human".

His connections and influences are vast and continuously growing. Just to give a brief example, they range from underground DIY/Lofi philosophies to Antonin Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty, surrealism, expressionism, performance art, Ankoku Butoh (japanese "dance of darkness"), french poststructuralism, video art and some expressions coming from contemporary experimental visual arts. Musically, the aforementioned range from rock, gothic rock, industrial, techno, electro and glitch, to classical, avant-garde, avante-garde pop, darkwave, coldwave, synthwave, neoclassical darkwave, noise, microtonal and experimental music. Following the body's deep urges and its intuitive capacity instead of fixed styles, techniques or genres, his art can only be innovative, barbaric, erratic and ritualistic. Both his music and visual art are connected to a post-human, post-dualist and post-anthropocentric existential philosophy.

Ofb1t es un compositor de música electrónica de vanguardia, cantante, actor y artista audiovisual y de performance.

"Podríamos desgarrar y liberarnos de esa caja estrecha llamada 'humano' para abrir las puertas del universo, para descubrir lo que ya está dentro de nosotros: el infinito potencial de devenir-otro, infinitas posibilidades de vivir y concebir la vida con nuevos sentidos. Hago música y montajes audiovisuales a través de acciones aleatorias, inconscientes y conscientes, máquinas potenciadoras digitales con múltiples conexiones en una red de deseo en continuo crecimiento. También concibo a mis obras como ritos de transformación y liberación potenciadas por lo que llamo la fuerza vital cósmica no-muerta al tiempo y que pretenden revelar y aumentar frenéticamente la potencia oscura, transgresora, interna del cuerpo. Mis obras encarnan en su conjunto un mundo hecho de múltiples formas de un mismo flujo de energía autodestructivo-creativo lleno de intensidad, animalidad, accidentes y sueños".

La música y el arte visual de Ofb1t exploran el cuerpo en sus crudas y misteriosas conexiones con el Cosmos en el caótico nivel existencial mientras se enfrentan a una tensión irresoluble entre el horror y la maravilla de la vida. Son desafíos a los valores y convenciones establecidos al romper con prisiones mentales dualistas y humanistas, como por ejemplo el "Ser", el "Yo", "Identidad" o "Humano".

Sus conexiones e influencias son vastas y están en continuo crecimiento. Sólo para dar unos cuantos ejemplos, van desde las filosofías underground DIY/Lofi hasta el Teatro de la Crueldad de Antonin Artaud, el surrealismo, el expresionismo, el performance artístico, la danza japonesa Ankoku Butoh (traducida como "danza de la oscuridad"), el postestructuralismo francés, el video arte y las artes visuales experimentales contemporáneas. Musicalmente, estas mismas van desde el rock, gothic rock, la música industrial, el techno, el electro y el glitch, hasta la música clásica, avant-garde, avante-garde pop, darkwave, neoclassical darkwave, synthwave, coldwave, noise, microtonal y música experimental en general. Siguiendo los impulsos profundos del cuerpo y su capacidad intuitiva en lugar de estilos, técnicas o géneros fijos, su arte se presenta como innovador, bárbaro, errático y ritualista. Tanto su música como su arte visual están conectados a una filosofía existencial post-humana, post-dualista y post-antropocéntrica.
