Por allá en 1990, Cuarto en el Vacío, mi banda de la prepa, tocaba esta rola cuya melodía y letra fueron creadas por David Casares, el cantante y bajista. Recientemente me encontré el casete de una grabación y me gustó como para hacer una versión diferente y, sobre todo,   poner en práctica la teoría de los cientos de tutoriales de producción y mezcla que he visto y sobre el mismo proyecto ir intentando probar diferentes técnicas y sobre todo, entrenar el oído.  Le falta, pero ahí la llevo y la siguiente espero que ya sea otra rola. Nunca se sabe sé si en dos semanas la escucharé y pensaré que mejor no había que subir tanto al bajo o que lo sobra un hihat...

In the bustling high-rise in the heart of Paris, an unlikely tradition has taken root: every morning at 7:20am, a full symphony orchestra performs a progressive electronic-symphonic set inside the building’s newest elevator.

Commuters squeeze in, half-confused and half-enchanted, as the walls vibrate with orchestral swells, glitchy riffs, and unexpected crescendos. 

What started as a logistical mistake and scheduling error has become a daily ritual and a local urban legend.

The ELEVATOR ORCHESTRA now draws a small cult of fans who purposely ride the elevator just to catch the ensemble’s latest flourish on the way up to Floor 44. 

It's inconvenient. It’s absurd. It's a big mistake... but somehow, it’s magic.

Piano is my primary instrument, some clarinette,drummer and singer in an all girl beginner level punk band, learning bass, guitar and ukelele!
My compositions and lyrics are expressions of my personality and life experiences. I love punk and electro rock, techno, trance, experimental, groovy and stuff that has no genre.  I have no boundaries in either subject matter or style. Music has consumed my soul and is my driving force in life.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists exploring a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave, and Experimental World Pop. Collectively, this is known as QUIRKPOP — music that pushes the creative limits of traditional pop.

Expect an unpredictable journey through sound, emotion, and humor, where genres collide and pop bends in strange new ways. Each song is conceived, composed, and performed with total sincerity, whether it’s built from voices, instruments, software, or hybrid experimentation. The focus is on the music itself: if it resonates, it resonates. No explanation required.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
