In 2020, the Almeda Drive fire swept through Southern Oregon. So many of my friends and community lost everything: their homes, their gathering spaces, their pets...It was a devastating and challenging time for us all, but our community came together in a way through still brings me to tears. It was truly amazing to witness people doing everything they could to help each other. 
This song was born from the desire to uplift all the people around me who were suffering. It is an invitation to dance, to keep moving, and a reminder that we will make it through, together.
