Finally, Tess landed in Quebec City, for the very first time. She had always wanted to go there, but it didn’t happen until this year. Coming from the south, she had never seen snow. Contemporary audio relics of a bygone future - these 'audio doodles' are a collaged combination of garageband / freesound / archive.org creative commons and public domain samples - hastily hacked together in response to themes and events at a particular moment. These pieces are an attempt to explore my real job as a design lecturer via audio alternatives to visual media with a hope of seeing a progression of ability and ideas over time. The accompanying images are captured whilst being a pedestrian in this world.
