The Robot Scientists are Markus Schneider and Stefan Maurer, two music connoisseurs, DJs and vinyl collectors from Saarbrücken, Germany. They are two of three behind Emerald & Doreen Records which they founded in 2011, with releases on the edges of Italo Disco, Dark Disco and Indie Dance. 

They also run the premiere and DJ podcast series Something Spæcial since 2013 which is one of the leading indie dance channels on Soundcloud. As DJs, they spin a highly energetic dark & brightly bouncing „all killer, no filler“ mixture of melodic, futuristic and psychedelic Indie Dance, Playa Tech and Space Disco.
