We have been up and running on this show for five years now, and this is our official 5th anniversary episode! To commemorate this, we invited two very special guests (for the third time), Chris Wall and Shaun McCormick! [We have a lively debate over how many times they have appeared on our show, and guess who was right?! :) ].
Friends, I don't even know what to say about this episode!  We are all over the place, but it was a good time.  We have a lot of discussion about raising adult children and being empty nesters, as well as the importance of cultivating marriage and still pursuing our kid's hearts.

I wrote these poems many years ago--all pre-AI and without its charming guidance. I tweaked the poems into suitable lyrics and developed the song structure. Finally, I used AI to compose the music. I guess this is striving to be a troubadour of the 21st century.

Many of my poems were written during my long traveling months when I was young and traveling a lot overseas. Later ones are about parenting, my Christian faith, and other life stuff.

These songs come from my poetry. The lyrics have not been AI generated or assisted. I did some tiny alterations of some of the original poems for musical flow. Except where noted, the musical compositions have been AI generated, where I took my poem and used some of the verses to create a chorus and bridge.

I have always been a romantic. I knew I'd found ‘the One’ when my boyfriend, now husband, wooed me with poetry, art and homemade flour tortillas. Whaat!? I enjoy being whisked away by audiobook stories and am thankful to now be in the driver seat of those Magic Carpet rides. Genres include Romance, Inspirational Fiction, Romantic Suspense, Romantic Comedy and Juvenile Adventure. When I'm not tucked away in my vocal booth, I enjoy sewing, painting, gardening, driving 4-6 hours to pick up my sons from college...anything that allows me to listen to audiobooks!
