So! Yet another new track slot has come to join the party, and this time it's the funni "everyone dies" route that gets it lmao.
But yeah this track fills the same sort of role as Enemy Retreating from Undertale Yellow, only starting to play in regular battles when you're getting closer to exhausting a given area's kill count. The other two motifs are fairly straightforward choices, but Alpha Bookstore Theme... I'm defo aware that's a bit of a curveball without context. I realized it would fit like an ironic glove since as currently used in a lot of tracks in the AU (including unreleased tracks/planned updates,) the motif has wound up being tied to a loss of control, in one way or another. Vanessa and Snatcher lost control of their fates, Peregrine lost control of that and her mind, Moonjumper lost control of their freedom... And in the Entropy route (also TimeWarp but shush,) Bow loses control of her sense of self, to put it lightly.
I also drew a LOT of stylization ideas from Adventure's End from Mario & Luigi Dream Team -- ties back to the BAATH and Megalovania, and helps to emphasize that you are choosing to make Bow bring this world down to its knees, to its end. (Also I suck ass at drumlines, so I referenced it heavily for the one I wound up transcribing lmao)
