The latest entry to the Enemy catalog comes courtesy of Lonefront, a Minneapolis based producer. He performs live regularly at The Great Beyond and Intellephunk events as well as an appearance DVS1's Wall of Sound event in Los Angeles.

Spanning 4 tracks, the vibe on Pronoia is unapologetically puristic. The EP leans heavily towards hypnotic dream-state techno with a softer approach. Messier Object stands as the EP's banger, emphasizing polymeter and and all out 909 assault on the senses. While the other tracks are less muscular, they double down on a submersive/aquatic tip that is equally captivating.

Pronoia: a state of mind that is the opposite of paranoia. Whereas a person suffering from paranoia feels that persons or entities are conspiring against them, a person experiencing pronoia believes that the world around them conspires to do them good.

This set is a culmination of my body of work up to this point with the first half being all originals.  After that I mix in work from others.

A word of warning, at first, you may find this set uncomfortable. It sounds familiar and you sit in a  space that feels nice and then I change it up. I say “You were good with this, but let me now make you feel something entirely different. It may be challenging for you, but I promise you can handle it”

I also threw in a small live PA performance in the set, which has now become a tradition of mine at The Great Beyond. Huge thank you to Intellephunk for allowing me the opportunity to perform for you all on the Communion Stage. It was superb and I am forever grateful to have a temple to spread my message from.

@enemy-records returns from a short hiatus to soundtrack a summer of questionable choices and excess. This year marks Enemy’s 20th anniversary, and will feature appearances from current label mainstays with some of their strongest releases yet.

"Alto" goes in heavy on the low end. Combined with hypnotic synths and f-u snare drums, Alto is the perfect track to drop during the heads down moments in DJ sets.

While Berlin's nightlife scene has a reputation for attracting a revolving door of people, those who are here to stay have had to witness the same painful cycle repeat itself over and over again: the best parties get too big, too fast and––due to forced venue changes and shifting crowds––lose their spark too soon.

RIDE is the lovechild of a group of friends whose bonds were forged on the dance floors of the parties, clubs and safe spaces that have been lost over time. Motivated by a shared need for a breath of fresh air in the scene, RIDE's founders pooled their talents, wisdom and experiences together to create an event that fills the gaps left by bygone institutions and that is, above all, a party they themselves would love to attend. 

After the prolonged uncertainty and stress of the pandemic years, RIDE burst onto the scene with the colorful and joyful energy of 90s club nights in New York and London. These frisky family affairs are soundtracked by both up-and-coming and well-established DJs who prioritize pleasure while serving their own unique flavor of groove, penetrating dancers' ears and bodies with everything from techno and ghetto to powerhouse and trance. 

From the moment it opened its doors, RIDE has proven itself to be a liberating sanctuary for the queer community. Each party is an enthusiastic invitation for guests of all colors, shapes, sizes and identities to be themselves, express themselves and explore their desires in an inclusive space shaped by authenticity and mutual respect. Due to the rarity of its warm and inviting environment, RIDE is a place where the silver lining in music is always audible and where everyone is made to feel like family. With its fierce commitment to supporting the LGBTQ scene and its unparalleled atmosphere, RIDE has already made a permanent mark on the nightlife culture of the world's mecca of electronic music. This is only the beginning of what will surely be a joyful and wild ride.

"Liara Kaylee Tsai is DJ and producer who taps into the divine through her use of hypnotic acid electro and techno sounds. Her sets are an expression of her magic, weaving spells to show those who listen the sacred. To be on the dance floor during a performance is to surrender and become one with nothing and everything simultaneously. It is her hope that she can show those who are willing to pierce the veil and recognize their own divinity and power. She is currently based in Minneapolis, but travels throughout the Midwest to conduct sonic pilgrimages. Occasionally her fox spirit Kitsy, who she hosts and shares a corporeal form with, shares the stage with her."

Nicklas was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. His passion for music started in a very young age through his father who is a jazz, blues and funk guitarist.

Nicklas has been interested in all forms of art, especially music. He has played drums and guitar since the age of 8.

The interest for electronic music started when a friend introduced him to acid and trance. Nicklas soon became a regular visitor at the few records stores that sold underground dance music in Stockholm.

In the year 2000 Nicklas planed his dream vacation, a long journey to Asia. But Nicklas became ill and he had to cancel the trip. Using the money he had saved for traveling he bought his first dj gear. That was the very start for his career. The genre at that point was psytrance, full-on and progressive.

After some years Nicklas was playing at underground parties almost every weekend in Sweden and Denmark. He was playing under alias such as “Dj Nirre” and “Flash Gordon”. He also did some live shows under the alias “Tryptamine”. Over a couple of years he had been playing B2B and alongside some of the world biggest psytrance artists such as Artax, Azax Syndrom, Z-Man, Logic Bomb and more.

As Nicklas got older his musical interest was changing to a more indoor and club style. In 2008 he started the record label Another Label Records that has released tracks from Pierce Fulton, Shane Silver, Gentry Jones, Frederic Van Hooft to name a few.

In 2010 a new era started for Nicklas. He has finally found his style of music, melodic and bass driven Techno and had his first release on ALR. In 2011 he decided to start a new record label called Rabbit Hole Recordings that is focusing on darker sounds like techno, tech-house, minimal and experimental music.

The mixture of his melodic tech-house combined with dark driving techno forms Nicklas’ specific sound.

His early dj career with psytrance, full-on and progressive has evolved into a modern funky bass and melodic driving style. He is always looking for new things to add in his live sets.
