Sooooo I downloaded vocaloid 6 and gave Gumi AI a try. I still think synthv is wayyy far ahead and vocaloid has a lot more to go. The rating for it right now is 6/10. I think they could work better on the pronunciations. Her accent is thick which is fine, but There's consonants and vowels that are being completely overlooked making it very hard for her to be understood. there is an intense thinness of her voice, it sounds muffled. The pitch bends you don't have complete control over. you cannot manually draw them in yourself. you can if you open up the control parameters, but not the lines themselves seen on top of the notes. I feel like there should be more control over those sort of things. UTAU for example has amazing pitch control, same with SynthV. A lot of parameters for AI such as gender factor has been removed. breathiness as well. I'm unsure why that is? maybe there's a reason for that? But I found that quite disappointing. 
I enjoyed her tone in general, I found her accent to be cute as well. I also really found the way you could change the timing in consonants and vowels to be very cool. It really helped with her expression. The expression tool was genius, really made her sound way more realistic when it came to her tone.
she's a good 6/10. <3
