Avenue One, the electrifying DJ duo, is the brainchild of two extraordinary talents, Matt Cerf and Petr Leško. With roots in Montreal, Canada, and Zlin, Czech Republic, they joined forces in 2012, driven by a shared love for music. Both members have deep-seated connections to the electronic music world.

In July 2022, Avenue One made a triumphant debut on Anjunabeats with the mesmerizing "Upstairs Terrace," a track that resonated with audiences worldwide, thanks to its inclusion in the Anjunabeats Volume 16 compilation mixed by Above & Beyond. Their 2022 album, "Outside My Door," marked a return to the scene after a hiatus, featuring standout tracks like "Rupture" and "Explorer."

Continuing their journey in 2023, they unveiled "Sky Falls" on Anjunabeats and the captivating "Uprising" on Colorize. In February 2024, they prepared a guest mix for Above & Beyond's Group Therapy radio show. March 2024 saw the release of their remix of the legendary trance anthem "Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Man On The Run" on Armada Music. In April 2024, they released "My Soul," a collaboration with the duo re:boot on Enhanced Progressive, which received support from Armin van Buuren on A State Of Trance and Above & Beyond's Group Therapy. In July 2024, they released "Days & Nights," the first single from their upcoming EP, chosen as the "Record of the Week" on Group Therapy by Above & Beyond.

With their innovative sound and a profound bond with fans, Avenue One is poised for a lasting impact in the electronic music domain, promising a vibrant future filled with fresh beats and musical adventures.

I am a UK born DJ, producer and general music junkie now based in Sydney. Growing up around the thriving underground music scene in Manchester it was easy for him to fall in love with underground music and soon journey from the dance floor to behind the decks.

Over the last 10 years I've jumped between playing the club circuit in Manchester, UK including Iconic club Sankeys and many more. Running my Hydration Longboat party series. Doing a stint on to the magical music isle of Ibiza further cemented my love for music.

I've hosted DJ shows for Easy Street, Pure FM radio (UK,  Just Vibes radio and Orbital radio and now play every second Friday on Bloop London Radio. My style is a mixture of electronica, progressive and melodic house, and deep house including jazz and funk. 

Now based in Sydney where I play as one half of the Dark Dreams Collective, co-founded with Forked Tongue. Launching our Black & White Techno nights and Conscious Rebellion Progressive house raves all over Sydney. Also working with the Sutra, Deep Repeat, Mind Sub & Renegade crews playing at the likes of Club 77, Burdekin, Goodbar and more.
