Fun Facts:
Epilogue is a post-breakup song.
It concerned a long-term relationship that had ended messily a few months earlier.
The protagonist still wanted to cause troubles months, even years, afterwards.
This was written around the time that Wud (the band) had ended and Laughing Sun was beginning.
For such a potentially heavy, hard rock song it features a surprise acoustic guitar.
It was never performed by a band.

You will take the panoramic view of your dreams, and I will hear the clear sound brought by the mountain breeze.

There is no winter that cannot be passed, and there is no spring that will not come. Persist, wait, just like the snowy peak in your vision at this moment will appear at your feet at that time. What has become the past will not change, but the upcoming future will not break its promise.

Sapeva, che di lì a poco, sarebbe stato scoperto.
Se ne stava fermo, immobile, cercando di trattenere il respiro il più a lungo possibile, come se questo riuscisse in qualche modo a salvarlo da ciò che lo aspettava.
La sensazione di una bestia che osserva la sua fine sapendo che di lì a poco, sarebbe arrivato il suo turno.
C'era qualcosa in fondo al buio e ad ogni passo il pavimento marcio scricchiolava sempre di più, e quel qualcosa che non si vedeva, si avvicinava inesorabilmente.
Timore reverenziale e curiosità latente avanzavano insieme tenendosi la mano, seppur con angoscia.

L'oscurità che avvolgeva l'aria, era tale che un cieco non avrebbe potuto immaginarsela più oscura, talmente fitta che la luce sembrava non fosse mai esistita.
All'improvviso una corrente gelida attraversò il nero profondo e risvegliò le dormienti ossa.
Mani e corpo tesero verso di essa ma andarono contro qualcosa cui non seppero riconoscere.
Poi, apparentemente dove non pareva esserci, una scia luminosa fece breccia tra le fila nemiche dell'inespugnabile fortezza.
Non era esattamente un invito ad una convivenza pacifica, quanto più ad una conquista decisa senza esitazioni.
Ma quella luce era abbastanza intensa per essere rivelatrice o era capace soltanto di delineare qualcosa di non troppo definito?

Tra un folto gruppo di nuvole nere spunta un sole incerto, i fiori ricamati sul tessuto ondeggiano, il paesaggio scorre rapido.
Tra finzione interna e realtà esterna non si frappone che un provvisorio muro di vetro.

È arrivato il momento di scendere

Fun Facts:
Leaving Home (Coda) is actually a bonus track.
This coda was something we discovered at the end of the mix of Leaving Home.
It appears to be just some guitar noodling that happened once the take was finished and the tape was still running.
There's a certain poignancy to it, like a final farewell, so we included it here.
When the lyrics for Leaving Home begin, they are describing the scene in George's room in real time.
Some of the lyrics are by turn fascinating, wistful, poignant and telling.
There is rather a lot of reverb on here, from the same source as for Secret Subsociety.
The drum machine is again the Boss DR 220A.
The EDP Wasp also makes a few appearances.
Leaving Home was never performed by any band.
The bass was tuned to a drop-D for this song.

Whirl Continues – Epilogue closes the episode with a serene but quietly charged reflection. Cinematic and epic writing sets a broad horizon for the final scene, while symphonic metal power and progressive rock movement give the melody a sense of strength that has survived everything that came before. Alternative metal touches and folk and folk rock colours keep it grounded in the same human world that opened the journey, celebrating who these people are in the aftermath.

The piece carries triumph, loss and hopefulness at the same time. Triumphant swells feel earned rather than euphoric, surrounded by harmonies that still remember what has been lost. Folk shaded phrases and softer lines act like memories and reminders, anchoring identity after so much has been shaken. The music also feels like a beacon, gently guiding back from the horrors that had to be faced during the saga. It ends abruptly, on purpose, to press a moment of self reflection into the listener, the sudden silence mirroring the feeling of realisation. The melody remains gentle but cautiously evocative, suggesting that the whirl of history continues even when this story falls quiet.

About the album

Whirl Continues – Epilogue is Movement XV of Whirl: Ukraine in Sound, an instrumental cinematic and neo classical suite with symphonic metal intensity and Eastern European folk and Balkan colour. Across 15 movements the album follows a journey from peace to war, through loss and mourning, and toward a scarred return to calm, written from the perspective of those living through aggression rather than watching from afar.

Olivier Noël, aka "n o x V Λ n d e r s", is a Franco-Cameroonian DJ and producer who has explored various musical genres since the 90s. He took his first steps in Switzerland, in Basel, under the name "Blackangel", where he made crowds vibrate during wild raves, particularly in abandoned factories of the Swiss food company "Le Bell."

In the 2000s, he moved towards more accessible sounds, exploring electro house under the alias "DJ Coolfun", not hesitating to flirt with what he himself calls "commercial soup." Three of his sets from that time can still be heard on SoundCloud (@dj-coolfun) and on edeejay.com (www.edeejay.com/profile-125718/video/).

But it was in 2012 that he fully immersed himself in the depths of progressive trance, refining his approach to mesmerizing sounds.

In 2015, Olivier made a radical shift towards drumstep under the alias "Skyloox" and dubstep by changing his alias to "OnBass 1978", mastering powerful drops and shattering rhythms. During this period, he left an indelible mark in Lorraine, mixing for various events and radio stations, including the iconic Radio-Déclic FM in Moselle. His explosive sets from that time can still be listened to on Mixcloud (www.mixcloud.com/OnBass/).

Always seeking evolution, Olivier returned to trance in 2020 under the alias "Oliver Chrisma5" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFzQr9gGdFQ), before diving headfirst, in 2024, into the retro-futuristic sounds of Synthwave, Vaporwave, and Chillwave.

Today, under the identity of "n o x V Λ n d e r s", he explores linear and mesmerizing soundscapes, blending melodies that are sometimes dark, sometimes bright. While respecting the unique codes of Synthwave, he allows himself to venture into other genres, notably dub and electro, while staying true to his vaporous and melodious atmospheres. Each production is an invitation to travel through time and space, a true musical journey back to the future.

His inspirations draw from the work of artists such as Daft Punk, Skrillex, Tiesto, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Seven Lions, and Kavinsky. Additionally, he draws from pioneers of electronic music like Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Vangelis, as well as modern Synthwave and Vaporwave artists such as The Midnight, Mitch Murder, Timecop1983, and Com Truise.

MaMan is the musical identity of Julian Steenbergen, a Netherlands-based electronic music producer and pianist known for his nature-infused sound. I’ve always lived at the crossroads of music and poetry — where feeling becomes form, and melody turns memory into meaning. Whether it’s a lingering jazz note, a well-placed rhyme, or a shift in tempo that tells a deeper story, I’m drawn to that quiet magic where art reflects life with a little more style.

My roots are in classic music — the kind that doesn’t chase the moment but lingers with you long after the last note. Over time, that love expanded into poetry writing and jazz — especially the kind that swings, speaks, and smirks all at once. Jazz, to me, isn’t just a genre; it’s a personality. A conversation. A little tilt of the head and a grin that knows more than it says.

When I set out to create an album, it’s rarely just a collection of songs. I approach it like a personal playlist — one that drifts and flows as if the entire tracklist were one long, uninterrupted piece. Each track leans into the next, shifting mood, pace, or voice, but always carrying the same thread of feeling. I want you to listen the way I do — not as a shuffle of moments, but as a cinematic arc. One breath that lasts an hour.

Lyrically, my work is rooted in lived experience. Sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s just the skeleton of a memory, dressed up in wit, irony, or longing. I draw from real-life events, then let the poet in me twist, stretch, or sweeten them to taste. Depending on the tone of the album — playful, romantic, nostalgic, or something in between — I try to keep the emotional truth intact while giving it a fresh coat of creativity. A little humor where it fits. A deeper dive where it hurts.

My newest jazz album continues this tradition — short-lined swing tracks, conversational duets, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. It’s an homage to late-night alleyway ballads, rooftop serenades, and train station goodbyes — all bound together with a sense of charm and cohesion. Each song is its own little scene, but together they tell a story — one you can revisit with each replay.

We are now brefugees, living in brexile very near the border of the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. If you live in (the crumbling remains of) the uk, do yourself a favour and leave. The upgrade in life quality will blow your mind.

* What do we stand for as a label?

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

We are against corporate brainwash muzak, their puppet friends in the mass media, and many other corporate activities. We will fight their desecration of music until either it stops or we die. 

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.

Fun Fact: 

"Pictureplane"(Travis Egedy), is a popular artist known for making his come up in the electronic music scene, DIY Venues, also popular for hanging around artists like "Grimes" and "Crystal Castles" in the early come up days of these artist, he is also the one who came up with the word "Witch House" which is a playful word on "House" music, though "Witch House" is now a popular music genre that is enjoyed by many.

"Crystal Castles" are actually one of the very first, if not the first electronic music duo to actually invent "Witch House" music, as you can hear dark beats and sorrow drawn out voices off of some of their early (demo songs/ Demo Album) dating back from "2007" and before that, which is crazy to think since during that time "Witch House" did not have a name for itself yet.
