Marta & The Vatakinians, an electropop quartet representing Vatican City, will now be a part of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. 

This will be their first time participating in the ESC with their wholly, holy song "BASILICA" --- This song blends soaring rhythmic vocals, modern dance pop, and occasional Latin sounds. The band's frontwoman, Marta Mandelbaum, is a former theology student, who started the quartet while residing in the basement quarters of the Sistine Chapel. Pope, was a fan.
