What to do when the desire to act is great, but the opportunities to do so are limited? 
When there are many ideas and wishes to experiment, but only a few can be realized? 
What if your creative urge is endless, but at the same time indelible? 
What to do when the obstacles in life are both metaphorical and physical? 
When life should roll like a pea, but it feels more like a bean or, even worse, a block? 

The exhibition “How Did It Get So Dark So Suddenly” focused on the theme of liminality, imbalance, which one must nevertheless navigate all the while maintaining an optimistic view on life.

A large-scale cyanotype installation was created at the Angaarinstituut in Põhjala, 
where everything found and reused found its place, was given new life with cyanotype blue. 
Large cubes made of plywood and window frames, fabrics, papers, ceramic tiles, and other materials were set up, displaying images and photograms of nature, where one can find both refuge and horror. 

Ave and Helle captured the photos both together and separately, always from the same starting point – seeking parallels and balance between complexity and free flowing state.

The exhibition included a sound installation created by sound artist Argo Vals, who drew inspiration from the visual material of the exhibition, mainly from angularity and natural environments.

Ho, ho, ho !!! Our pre X-Mass episode is dedicated to Orbital Mechanics, Electro label founded in 2021 by JDSK and well known Maltese music producer Keith Farrugia aka Sound Synthesis. This year, to finish in a nice way, was released 10th and final chapter in a double 12"' titled "The End".  We have prepared  dj mix consisting of tracks from all  (ten) Orbital Mechanics releases.
